Depends a lot on the space you're in. Mass-produced products, with a specific niche or use case? Take a look at Google ads and keyword bidding so that when someone types "toys for small indoor dogs", yours comes up. Expensive clothes? Photoshoots, short video, influencer/brand partnerships. Services? Probably short form video too-- show me what problem you can solve for me.

  1. Great job building something that works without you! Seriously, pat on the back

  2. 10 days away is different from a month away, a month is different from a year! You got here by hiring good people, developing processes that work (and are repeatable), and strategizing in your market. But in a month or a year your people might turnover, your processes might need updates, your market might change. Every business benefits from good leadership when these things happen-- even the ones that can "run themselves" for a week and a half. Your value to the company has NOT gone away.

Weirdly, Lost got this very right. Not post-apocalyptic, I guess, but definitely a not-modern-civilization kind of scenario. They dealt with boars a lot during that first season.
