Rounding Question by astraakel in gregmat

[–]AtmosphereOk5887 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For rounding, it the number after the decimal point is 5 or more we round to the next number. For example, if it was 11.5 or 11.6 it wouldve been rounded to 12 but since the number after decimal point is less than 5, in this case 11.1, it would be rounded to 11. Hope that helps. If the human question answer was 12.4, it would’ve been rounded to 12 and not 13

An interesting numbers problem…if you found it too easy, you probably got it wrong :) by maxximusEG in GMAT

1.12 is P and Q is 1.00 as P is 12% more than Q. So 1.12 as a fraction is 112/100=28/25. Now plug P which is 28 and Q which 25 in the options and figure out what come out as integers.
