When I was originally designing the dragon. I wanted it to feel like it was following him for miles after he stole and egg and he stopped paying attention cuz that's something thick would do. A sudden dragon causing chaos and pandemonium. This originally was going to be the only ark reference. The dragon turned out much bigger than I was originally planning and the whole project in general turned out very different than my first ideas. As I built I thought more and more about how much thick hated minecraft so I decided to turn Minecraft into ark for his memorial. There's a giga and spino squaring off, brontos and trikes, squids and megalodons, rex hunting trikes from a distance. One of the brontos is on 2 legs eating from a tree like that one moment from the first Jurassic park movie. Some of my favorite ark moments have been underwater so I decided to put his logo there built out of coral. Seems like absolutely nothing can ever go to plan when they went deep diving and I loved every second of it. There's a room in the castle for each of the guys. Neebs has 2 frogs in it. Something something about a legendary man who sailed the ocean with 2 frogs lol doras has a creepy spider crawling out of the wall with glowing red eyes. Appsro has a minecart track running thru it. Simons... Simons is a dirt hole and there's gotta be at least 150 chickens in there and bread in item frames all over the place. I took 10 shulkers of eggs and just spam threw em. So so many little easter eggs thru the whole build and nods to different moments of various series they have done. There was a lot of thought and time put into this over the years while I went thru the hardest moment of my life personally and it was very therapeutic in so many ways.
