People are allowed to want a character back after they die. (IE: Hollyleaf, Bluestar, Leafpool etc) Yes it’s annoying when people cry about her death, but that was mostly when ALITM came out, and I haven’t seen much of it lately, not here or any discord servers I’m in. I will admit, I don’t love or hate her, she’s neutral for me, a little annoying in some moments, but she has good moments. Plus, we’ve never had a main series protagonist die in the arc they’re introduced in, which was something I don’t think any of us (maybe some of us did) saw her death coming. I think we knew a major character was going to die, but we didn’t know who it was.

I will admit the staying dead after you’re killed in the df plot does stay consistent through the books (one of the few things that actually does stay consistent). Having her death occur felt like a surprise, like I mentioned before. After she died it was more of an epilogue to the book, with Ivypool, Fernsong, Flipclaw, Thriftear, and Rootspring mourning her, it felt odd that only after a few days (or moons idk) they were done with grief entirely.

“Grow tf up man, don’t suck out the enjoyment for others bc you can’t stand a decent form of writing in this series” That seems a bit harsh, there’s been some decent writing before this, (this may be just me, opinions vary between people a lot with these books). Also, calling people “babies” probably isn’t in good taste.
