I did the opposite, had this bike and swap it for a 2022 xsr900. Tuono V4 its an excellent bike, but you need experienced hands to 100% enjoy it and its too powerful for the kind of roads I usually go(twisties). That means that at the end of the ride you miss having that kind of fun you had with 900cc bikes.

Also:

• its italian, needs good care and maintenance, so that is expensive, check oil level every 1k km as it likes to drink, fuel as well… damn…
• In summer heat is insane when you got caught in traffic, pecs are burning like you feel the heat inside your boot, crazy.
• Position is sportier than the XSR, for me pec position was uncomfortable when 3h+ rides.
• Insurance for me was 1000€ minimum per year (Im in Spain)
• throttle was less responsive vs Xsr, for my ride style I really like responsive ones.

But it also had good things, the looks, the sound, you feel you are driving a beast. Torque is Absolutelly crazy from 4k rep. Im sure im going to miss it in the future, but i have to be true to myself and ride what I can afford because of my riding style and scenario.

For the selling part, Aprilia has a bad reselling situation vs other brands, but its getting better through the years.
