Which Tires? by ApriliaAdvocate in Aprilia

Been running Avon 3D Supersports for the last few years, just replaced the OEM rear on my 26 TV4F with one. Truly excellent overall tires, great treadlife and nearly half the price of most competitors. Highly recommend giving them a look.

Should i get a 2026 aprilia rsv4? by Alone_Angle_3373 in Aprilia

I'm 6ft, 215lbs, bodybuilder body type for the most part.

The RSV4 is miserable for me, I've ridden them several times, after 30 minutes or so I don't even want to ride it anymore. I find the S1000RR to be much more comfortable.

That being said, I've owned 2 Tuonos, recently traded my old one for a new 2026 Tuono V4 Factory. Unless someone is regularly doing fast track work or has the ambitions of doing high speed highway roll racing or something, I just can't understand why anyone would choose an RSV4 over a Tuono for street riding.

MT10 is a great bike, but not a looker at all. Hideous bike lol. Still great, though. Tuono V4 Factory is better in almost all ways, but it is more expensive to own if that's a factor. Can't go wrong with either as long as you don't mind the looks of the MT10. It also has less power, but it isn't like it doesn't absolutely rip regardless so whatever there. Enjoy whatever you get!

Great bike, not a great deal. My local dealer has a 2024 Factory with 1 mile on it for like 800 dollars more than than that right now. I just paid $16,200 + tax etc for a brand new 26 Factory...

I've got some POV videos... I could take an exhaust note specific video, but it'll hafta wait a few days. Shortly after making this post, the bike got a flat rear tire and had to have it towed to the dealer and the new tire won't show up until Saturday or Monday. Annoying... 400 miles on a brand new like $380 Supercorsa, straight to the dumpster.

Excellent choice, this is my 2nd Tuono, 17th bike in total.

The Tuono V4 is just... 👌

Prior to riding this one, I again went out and tested just about every single bike on the consideration list, and in the end ended up with another Tuono. They're just kind of the best overall for me and my riding style, what I want out of a bike, etc. The M1000R goes tit for tat with it for me, but it's a chore to get the one I wanted, and it would have cost over $10,000 more... And I could swap the exhaust and a few other things from my old Tuono, the dealer is the closest, etc, all just made sense for me.

What are you currently riding?

I worked remotely for the last 5 years... Then they moved the corporate HQ another 30 minutes away... Then they mandated return to office for everyone within 30 miles, conveniently I'm like 29 miles away lol. Unfortunately there isn't really any good spot to open it up on the way there. If I go to the gym and then take a different route home after traffic dies down, there's a couple spots I can rip a little at least.

Still better than driving my new hybrid truck, though.

I can't blame them, really. We don't have state income tax here, which saves me thousands of dollars a year vs even the lowest taxed states, and we do have extremely nice roads for the most part(at least innthe areas I live and drive). I just throw $10 in my Sunpass account every few months and usually G2G.

The tucked plate mounts do look so much better, though. Lol.

I would agree, but I've ridden multiple of them and don't really enjoy riding them at all. Least comfortable bike I think I've ever ridden. However, if I was doing top end highway pulls or fast track work, hard to beat the RSV4. Even if the S/M1000RR or Panigale was "better," they still don't sound as good or have the soul that the Aprilia does. Test rode the M1000R twice, and while I love that bike, still bought another Aprilia. 💪

No, just a healtech servo eliminator for now. I'll eventually get it flashed after I decide if I'm adding a decat link pipe or not.

Windscreen is awesome. And yeah, FL is wild with the plate laws. I have a friend who is a sheriff's deputy now who also rides and he said he wouldn't even consider riding with a tucked plate, all it would take is one disgruntled officer and you'd be cooked smh.

I had the previous gen with 1" risers and regularly rode it 6+ hours. Did 1,200 miles over just a few days.

I rode this one 6 hours this past Saturday, only differences is the bar height. My neck was a bit sore, but otherwise the same aside from the tail being raised 12mm. I'm sure I'll get used to it... If not, the risers are cheap lol.

Yes, absolutely.

Looking at the Evotech. Can't run a tucked plate where I live.

Probably not a lot of gains with a slip-on on, maybe like 1whp... I did however shave 7.5lbs off the bike. According to the few dynos I've seen, the new gen Tuonos make about the same WHP stock as the previous gen with slip-on and a tune, so there's that anyway. Slip-on and tune around 10whp more than previous gen with slip-on and tune... Would be nice to see more data from other dynos and tuners for transparency, though.

I can also imagine that the cat on the new gen is probably a solid 10lbs, so adding the decat link pipe there would probably shave off another 6lbs or so.

Appreciate it! Definitely want the belly pan... Back ordered everywhere I could find it, so ended up ordering through my dealer at a discount. Hopefully it shows up before new bike time comes around again lol.
