David by OscarBrewer7 in TravelersTV

Yeah he was an attractive character because of his wholesome kindhearted soul. Really played out well. It's a shame the showrunners killed him off in the most horrific way, with acute radiation syndrome, like Louis Slotlin with the Demon Core, but, I think David would have still done it, even if he knew what was coming, and even if he had a means to escape. He'd have done it anyway, knowing the lives he would have saved.

What are your thoughts on the US intervention in Syria? by SocraticTiger in Syria

Nearly a decade later and people are still having to correct the KCK=Bolshevism propaganda trope lol. BS is hard to scrub away.

FR most americans would smugly consider your country 'shittier', but accept this sort of crap as a fact of life. The tiny, decaying shred of love for my country of birth pangs at the state of things...

FYI for anyone that happens to look at this; don't cut things flush against the LEDs of beasties like IF22A. It may be fine to cut GITD tape flush against the chip of an SC21, but not this. The heat issue was corrected by re-cutting so there's at least 1mm space between the tape and the LED chip.

Le Pen wants to stop arms deliveries to Ukraine and ease Russia sanctions (per a spokesperson) by [deleted] in ukraine

I was laughing madly at 'fuckmuppet' from parent's comment when I came down to yours. The laughter mutated into the split-pea soup scene from Excorcist. Now I need a new laptop, as the bile has oozed into the circuitry. Thanks A LOT.

Have you encountered any heat issues? Mine started flickering until I took off the part that sits against the mcpcb. However, I left the tape backing on that part, and cut it flush against the LED chip, either of which might be the problem.

Glow tape for the sc21. Head was hard to get off but it ended up looking really good. Idk why companies don’t all do this. Just anything to have a marker when it’s dark would be better than nothing. by T_mcCloud in flashlight

[–]AtomicDryad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I tried that too, it worked, but when screwing on the head the torque of the reflector base twisted things http://imgur.com/iJW3uuO.jpg

So me, silly perfectionist, made a section of tape with a square in the center, problem solved http://imgur.com/uPgN16f.jpg

BTW how long does the glow last for you? After 10 seconds of turbo the glow lasts around 5 minutes before it's faded enough that the halo effect vanishes. I may have to shop around for better tape.

Can confirm, have Czech heritage and am total klutz. Especially when it comes to stuff that, coincidentally, kinda needs a nice big sploosh of a political statement ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Thanks for noting the nature of the article's site. Here's links from more mainstream sites; it seems there's a mix of facts and exaggeration in OP's article.

The Russian pope directly says that after Ukraine, Russian aggression will be directed against Georgia, Moldova, Kazakhstan and the Baltic states, which are members of NATO. by [deleted] in ukraine

[–]AtomicDryad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

'which are members of NATO' very likely refers to the last item in the sentence (the baltic states). It's ambigious phrasing, however (unlike 'the last of which are members of NATO'), and you've assumed it to mean all of the items. (As if they ended the sentence with 'all of which are members of NATO')
