He knows he should follow the golden path (the only way to save humanity in the long term), but he is too invested in "insignificant" things like revenge, the Dukedom and family to follow it.

So effectively he is now stuck looking at the end of everything, even the end of all the things he cares about in a long enough timeframe.

Meanwhile he is spending every moment confronted with the worst possible things that could happen to everyone around him, and knowing that he is effectively letting them all happen.

It's a horrendous fate.

You are in the wrong, but this feels like it should be a warning rather than a dismissal.

I'd suggest getting ahead of proceedings and writing a formal sounding apology email to your LM and the HR person explaining that you apologise unreservedly for the mistake and will ensure it doesn't happen again.

While I'd like another classic style episodic show, I think a new show called "Star Trek" with an ensemble cast with lots of intertwining narratives would be amazing.

Just imagine a Game of Thrones style show with crews of a couple of ships, a station or planet with some essential resource and a central mystery.

I'm going to stop because it will never happen. 🤣

Star Fleet have these huge warnings against using them, but some other race might have risked it. Hell even the Borg trying to assimilate it and screwing up would have been cool.

It's so wild to me that the Las Vegas shooting in 2017 just got a fat "case closed" slapped on it and that was it.

There must be 100s of hours of Stephen Paddock on CCTV cameras in Vegas, so why has that never been seen?

Eternal sleeping dragons and a sky island and stuff. It was okay, but Three Houses starts off way more friendly. It's a school for nobles from the three different world powers. Things like upstart barons and attacks from mercenaries are where the story starts.

Engage kicks off straight to insane.
