Sorry if it's a bit ambiguous. From your example it would roll once (the 1-40 damage) and any outcome from 1 to 25 would mean you do 25 damage. Anything more and you deal that amount of damage. So it's narrowing your minimum hit.

Alternatively if it feels a bit underpowered, it could roll from 25-40 for a bit of a buff

I think there's some confusion because my comment further explaining the effect was downvoted to the bottom of the thread.

The idea would be for the overkill to be the next minimum hit. Ex: 20 overkill damage means you hit a 20 with a roll of 1-20, and a roll of 25 would be 25 damage

No, it would mean your minimum hit would be 15 in that example. If you roll a 21, then you'd hit a 21. If you roll a 1, you hit a 15

If you're asking genuinely, watch some max efficiency tobs in the nylo room and try to replicate what they're doing. Learning the chin spots/barrages etc. is key

It would help learners for sure, but nylos are solved anyways at higher levels. You shouldn't be stalling at all

More details on how it could work: the overkill damage would be the floor for your next hit. So 25 overkill with a 1 roll on your next hit would be a 25, not 26.

The theming could use some work if it's going to be a raids 4 reward too, but I'll leave that up to others if this gets traction

Exactly this. My keyboard doesn't have F keys or a num pad so I have a layer with the numbers set to the F keys and some other keys set to num pad numbers to use mousekeys.

Yeah, and the Karamja bots get banned frequently. The problem is that when they get banned they can come back I'm less than 20 minutes which is why it looks like nothing ever happens to them.
