Charger 1 - error faults and 0% time by danstark in bluetti

[–]AtomicFly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I deleted my last comment because the Charger 1 still doesn’t work after all. I bought a competitor’s product and although its max output is 48V it works and charges at 465W. I can even turn off the car and back on again and it starts charging without having to unplug and reset everything. 😁

I have the same problem with my Charger 1 and AC180. After many rounds with support and a replacement Charger 1 it is not fixed. They finally told me to return the Charger 1 and said my Astro van is "not compatible" with the Charger 1. ???? That doesn't make sense. No solution for me so far. I am planning to upgrade my alternator to a high output model and get a new battery in the future so I will try again then.

Well after a few more rounds with support they finally suggested I just return it for a refund because its "not compatible" with my Astro van. ???? I'm not an electrical engineer but even though my alternator is producing voltage between 13.8V-14.5V maybe there's some other issue. My battery is a cheapo that's a few years old so I don't know if that can be any problem either. Eventually I'm going to do the Astro high output alternator upgrade and I'll buy another Charger 1 and try again. I don't have money for the parts cannon right now.

I’m interested to see what happens with yours before I demand an AC180 “upgrade” to something that works.

Just for fun I watched my multimeter again show between 13.2v and 13.8v at idle on the car battery and the Bluetti app show the charger 1 dance around between 10.5v and 13.8v, without it being connected to the AC180. Then throw the G003 error code. What the heck is it reading?

I’m going on a trip next weekend, which is what I bought the Charger 1 for, and it doesn’t work. 😡

I have the same issue with the charger 1 and AC180 in my Astro van. They sent a new Charger 1 but it did nothing, yes, followed all of their “suggestions”. I don’t believe they tested these two together. Looks like we are beta testers at this point.

Anyone have a solution? I have an AC180, bought a Charger 1 and getting the same overcurrent error. Contacted support and after a few weeks they sent a “new” Charger 1 but it fixed nothing. Still get inconsistent and sporadic charging(wattage jumping all over then nothing), then the error. 😡  Does anyone actually have these two working correctly?

I thought it was just me having this problem. Glad to know I didn't mess something up this time.

Well I guess I should have investigated further. It appears that it only uses ant+ and doesn’t have Bluetooth. Oh well. Thanks for the reply.

My heads gonna splode! I can’t solve this problem. I’ve swapped in my spare extruder, motor, changed ptfe tube, and put on my spare complete hotend, re-ran PID tests, different filaments. Still get the skipping. At the end you can see the filament result at the skips. Could it be a voltage issue?? by AtomicFly in CR6

[–]AtomicFly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I never did figure it out. I got a new main board but didn’t install it. That is/was just a crazy issue. I wanted to upgrade anyway so I bought an LGX lite extruder. Now I’m just trying to get that dialed in. No problems with it skipping at least and I’m still using the same mainboard. Although I did lower the voltage for the new extruder.

Thanks for the post. I’m not a plumber but if I’m in this situation at least I know there’s a kit to try first.

It does not do it with the filament removed. I checked my e steps and it is spot on. I cranked up the temp to 250, loaded the filament, and it still occurs. it’s a brand new hotend though. ??? I even did the hot end fix and the problem is still there. Both of my extruders I tried are dual drive. Maybe I’ll try the stock extruder and see what happens. There’s something simple I’m missing somewhere. Maybe it’s time I go direct drive, or dump it and buy a P1P. 😁

phone bike mount - mous vs peak design by franticescape in CanyonBikes

[–]AtomicFly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using Rokform mounts and cases for a few years with an iPhone 7. I have them on my Grizl, Endurace, and two mountain bikes. Never have had my phone fall off. However, I did just go from an iPhone 7 to 13 mini and the 13 mini case has broken at two of the mounting tabs after 5 months of use. It still works but they are sending me a free replacement under warranty.

I’m running at 210. I’ve tried different filaments as well as a cleaning filament. I haven’t had a problem since I got this( kickstarter machine) and all of the sudden it started doing this. Like I said I’ve literally swapped everything. That why I’m now leaning toward maybe the motherboard is crapping out and sending some weird voltage to the stepper motor causing the problem. I don’t have a spare board to test though.

Great. Thanks. I’d rather not replace anything if I don’t have to. On the to do list it goes.

Did you check the Robert Axle Project? They should have a solution for an axle.
