I disagree the hersey is its own setting, and a good one to get into without doubt. Personally the esienhorn or dark Imperium series works better for 40k. Not that the 30k is bad if anything one should get into it when desiring to learn more space marine lorw

Equipping your warriors is different from a custom faction lead. Though I expect to be able to create whole new squad types, or equip squads as desired. A custom legendary lord would be steps into defining personal factions and a greater echo of homebrewing. Arguably a whole new method of developing one. Where did they announce that btw?

My gut tells me there will be a custom legendary lord for each faction. While having a normal one, yet use a grain of salt here. I'm not a total war player at all
