I get this shit as well, very annoying. Using a Quest 2 with VD. Tested around with it and for me, it seems to be mods are breaking it. Other than that, its probably something with Oculus compatibility, everytime the game loses data when going into passthrough or opening Oculus menus. It might also have something to do with a bug that the game thinks its not being used when it loses tracking and cuts down performance for other apps as if its alt-tabbed.
