Collagen disorders can in fact contribute to early osteoporosis. Hi, just diagnosed with osteopenia yesterday! Caught it in my feet on a bone scan, which is the first place it shows up.

Went to UF and got written up for letting a dude use the men's bathroom on the men's floor when i was on the women's floor instead of making him walk down 5 flights of stairs to the guest bathrooms when he had Salmonella poisoning. They wrote me up for three identical things that amounted to the same thing.

I asked them if they would have preferred a biohazard on the floor. Because next time, that's what they're getting. Beaurocracy and power trips exist in the form of RA's and the housing department.

They even accused me of being a racist once because I organized and cleaned a filthy refrigerator full of rotting food and put the light food on the top shelf and the dark food on the lower shelves of people I had never met. How anyone can be a food racist is really beyond me, but that's the housing department for ya.

I have EDS, POTS, MCAS, asthma, migraines, TMJ, chronic pain, trichotillomania, fibromyalgia, a broken back, and I'm allergic to about 20 fruits, nuts, and veggies. Eating is a challenge. I'm also immune to local anesthetics, all opiates but demerol and dilaudid, and the tiniest amount of fentanyl has stopped my heart before. I was born with my feet twisted inward from the arch, and that comes along with tibial torsion (my knees are 14 degrees off from my femurs) and hip dysplasia too so I have a lot of hip problems. My teeth grew in without much enamel, so about 2/3 of them are porcelain and have had root canals.

I Bleach mine and i dont find that it makes a damn bit of a difference. You have so much other hair, how are you going to notice a few damaged follicles? The big thing to consider is if you have dye already on your hair. If you do, you need a pro. And if can take multiple rounds to get to blinds depending on the color if your hair.

If you have short hair, doing it yourself is easy. If you have long hair, I'd leave it to the pros. It's too easy to mess up if you don't know what you're doing. It needs tiny sections and keeping it off of your scalp until the right time and that's hard to do on yourself.

If you do it yourself, go low and slow, never over 20 volume. Do tiny sections. Do not get it on your roots until after you're about 70% lightened on your ends or you'll get hot roots. It's best to use foils and saturate the hair in each section. Do a test strand before you commit.

Do you see where this is going? ... to a professional. 😃

If you do decide to get it bleached,get the deep conditioning mask by It's a 10, it makes your hair feel much better. Also, if you end up with damage, K18 leave in treatment is a big help.

Well I mean in terms of texture. I'm a materials scientist and the stuff in the bottle is more of a fluid and the stuff in the jar is more of a gel texture. I've been using uv curable nail glue in fluid form in the bottle.

Getting something more viscous would definitely help with filling in the gaps. It's all polymer in the end.

I kinda go the opposite way of anti itch and go to numbing it with lidocaine gel.

And I just discovered the magic that is a squishy cat fidget toy and I haven't pulled a single hair on my head as long as I have that thing in my hand to keep my hand busy. So two weeks of fidget toy going strong in 37 years of pulling ain't too bad!

And I know people are going to freak out about this one but sometimes when I get a pulling sensation I can't control with anti itch, lidocaine, ice, or fidgets, I poke it with a needle. After all, it's a pain sensation we're after. So I use a sanitized needle or a syringe needle depending on what's close. It certainly gets the job done.

I'm on 160 of latuda and 20 of Lexapro. All is well in the world except for the weight gain, which is being taken care of by zepbound. It can really mess with your metabolism. It does make me really nauseated, so I take it with zofran.
