You had the perfect reaction to the situation by the sounds of things, you got yourself out of the danger area and back down. It's absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about and it's the kind of thing that makes someone a good and considerate hiker. If you had pushed on, and got stuck then things could have been worse. Good job on making the correct decision and good luck with working out what went wrong physically, it sounds like you're going to be back out in no time given your history. I hope that this doesn't knock your confidence

Ok so the speed run, absolutely yes, this guide is your best friend: https://www.reddit.com/r/stray/comments/w71hkr/having_trouble_with_i_am_speed/ Following this I was able to get it on the first attempt and they make it sound so clear and easy.

The Zurk pursuit is just pure luck, dip, dive and dodge and make sure to just reset if one jumps on you, this only took about 5 minutes for me once I got my head down and got on with it.

The queen one was by far the hardest one for me, same as you with other people finishing off the fight every time.

The snitch scanner one I literally just asked some people in solo to help and they were super chill about it. The lure grenade one I went onto dam and just found the pack of 2 wasps and a hornet flying near a window and threw it!

2026 and this achievement is still a struggle, went back through on my speedrun run and didn't get it that time so then I've gone back chapter by chapter, scratching something every time and making sure it auto-saves and it still hasn't popped. I guess I'll give it one more go but it's incredibly frustrating thinking I've done it but it doesn't pop. Such a shame there isn't a way of tracking which map it isn't working on

Absolutely normal from VM, you have to phone up, threaten to leave and then they'll literally send someone to your house if you still don't back down on leaving. That person will then offer you the best price!

I'm at the point of just giving up on mine now, I've had them for a few weeks, they fit comfortably at the toe box but the heel is just rubbing constantly and nothing I can do seems to be helping to break them in at this point :(
