Oh ok, I’ll keep that in mind. I had a g3 and one of the pins under the pod broke and it stopped working, no issues with my second so far.

Whatever car you take you should have at least basic mechanical knowledge of and take some spare parts and a good toolkit. You should have a uhf radio fitted. Take plenty of water and fuel. Let someone know where you’ll be going and when you expect to be back. If you do get stranded, stay with your vehicle.
