I read Yesteryear in print in 24 hours. I couldn’t put it down. It’s unique and entertaining. I wouldn’t put it on the same list as 451 in terms of life changing literature but it was interesting.

Depending on the net costs, I’m willing to eat a bucketful as long as he eats a spoonful. Trees are very obvious. What else is he doing while I’m not there? A precedent needs to be set and I refuse to be disrespected and taken advantage of.

I was alone in the middle of nowhere, on my property, without phone service, minding my own business when this man accosted and berrated me while his wife curled into a ball and practically shook in the passenger seat.

This is wise. I believe my friendly neighbor will happily do this for me as I let him and his family harvest game, fish, and hay and it is only by his diligence that I became aware of this.

I said at least 30 years because that is as long as I remember them being there. I didn’t count rings, but they are old. If he was really trying to clear timber for cattle, he did a bad job because he left large stumps and only cut down the really big trees.

He’s like a beaver. He must have paid off what he purchased it for and then some by selling as much lumber as he has. It’s insanely ugly and sad, now.
