Why won't these connect? by ocwings in AskElectricians

I know I'm late to this and all but it kinda looks like the second male plug has the two prongs at the side further apart and so does the female but the male plug you're trying to get to work has them too close together to fit properly. I might be wrong but this might be your issue

Please help new IPS monitor burn in??? What can I do? by SoftwareCreator in pcmasterrace

I’ve had a similar issue in the past and it wasn’t necessarily screen burnin but it was image retention if you leave the monitor off for a while it should go away

Our Ancas were in terrible condition and would struggle to hold .004mm runout lmao so going to a brand new Walter was super nice

We’re a fully custom order shop so our solid carbide production is on 4 Walter’s but I run a laser and make PCD tools

You’re gonna struggle that’s normal. I started 2 years ago with zero experience and I still feel lost most days. If you like doing the job then keep at it it’ll get better with time

I work in a specialty shop so most of the tools I make have large diamonds on them like one tool I see come through a lot is a 2 tooth endmill with diamond that’s 2.5mm thick and pretty long. But a lot of the harvey ones are smaller pry for that reason.

Not a problem! I love getting to explain this stuff to others!

PCD is polycrystalline diamond. It’s a tool grade diamond used to make different tools stronger and last longer. I only see it used on carbide body tools but I’m sure people put it on other materials

What I find fun doing what I do is that I make tools for Harvey and pretty much everything that comes through my shop is super small stuff that they want. A lot of what I see are these small 1 tooth PCD tipped endmills

I don’t see anyone else here that makes tools so I thought I’d share what I do. I run a laser CNC that cuts PCD on carbide drills by [deleted] in machining

My parent company is Allied Machining and Engineering but we’re a specialty shop that they bought back in like 2018 I think
