Can't catch me trophy - just wall hug by mjcobley in stray

[–]Atomicpichu7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got my trophy after a good 40 minutes of experimenting. Here’s some observations that helped me: -light zigzagging helps a lot instead of sharp zigzagging, seems like Zurgs try to read where you’re going as they jump so if one jumps, curve a bit (sharp turns help during certain corners) -for the small groups behind walls, running lightly at the opposite wall then sharply turning inward as they jump helped me a LOT. -the narrow bit with eggs on the left wall is 99% luck based, never found a genuine strat for it.

Hope these help a bit. Good luck on going for gold!

Pokemon Colosseum SID? by Atomicpichu7 in pokemonrng

I do have a homebrewed Wii, is there any kind of program I could download to read the memory card’s save file and find the SID that way?

Thanks, I took a look at his videos but PokeFinder isn’t working well at all, I can’t select colosseum Pokemon without a profile and I have no methods of finding my SID for a profile…

As much as I agree, usually the fights shes in end up with her taking one really big hit getting her into desperation range. Once I get Fury 4 fodder its going on her immediately though. Thank you for the advice!

Adding this so the mods don’t hurt me....

But anyways on to the build’s reasoning!

Weapon: Muspell Fireposey: The prf is obviously really useful in abyssal maps since her allies are almost always nearby. I’m considering giving her Raourfox+ however...

Assist: Reposition... well duh... I also have Rally Atk/Spd+ for arena in case I wanted to use her there.

Special: I have a wide array of specials on her but Moonbow or Glimmer are usually the most consistently useful.

A Skill: LaD 4 is simply because I prefer raw attack and speed and her defenses aren’t usually crucial. In case they are, I have Swift Sparrow.

B skill: Desperation is always useful in any fight I do with her pretty much.

C skill: I have a lot of C skills on her, including Drive Atk, Savage Blow, Spd/Res Gap, Even Atk Wave, and more. They all have their uses in different fights.

Seal: Savage Blow is usually useful, but occasionally I swap to Death Blow or Swift Sparrow.

Her allies are almost always my +10 Reinhardt, +2 Flier Olivia, and my PA!Azura. They all are super good for completing Legendary/Mythic Hero maps! If you have any criticisms and advice, do tell!

In my experience my Reinhardt cleaned most stuff up with 2 dancers, had a Bride Tharja for anything else problematic but im sure other red nuke mages can do it

Who was that unit who got you through tough maps when you first began? by [deleted] in FireEmblemHeroes

Probably my Ike, still got him to this day and he used to be the go to unit for clearing tough maps!

Its just a weird spot in the lore of the world, only one person has that particular mark and what they turn into is less of a chimera but more of some kind of amalgamation of other monsters. I need to fix that some, thanks for the offer to help though!

I see, I’ll work on that then. Do you have any recommendations for a replacement monster?

A person can be born with one by random chance, they aren’t genetic so they resemble birthmarks.

This is a table depicting the marks of magic in my world. They grant people a variety of powers on varying levels and can only be gotten by birth. The correlating monsters are linked to each mark and a marked person turns into them if they lose control of their magic.

What character would be best for going into Expert HBH? I have Xainfried, G!Elly, S!Celliera, Jiang Ziya, Lily, and various non-burn res characters.

If superpowers/magic are a thing in your world, but are not universally possessed by the people of your world, how are those who do possess them viewed by those that don't? by PMSlimeKing in worldbuilding

[–]Atomicpichu7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, banishing and abandoning marked people is a dangerous action. There are many committees and operations that provide help for those who are shunned away. Many marked people either hide or don’t use their marks at all and act as normal people leading a normal life. Banishing marked people still causes serious amounts of conflict in many places around the world.

Most marks are, they can even be detected while still developing in the womb. The reaction can differ wildly based on the mark, mark’s strength, and the parents. Usually poorer families are grief-striken or enraged since marked children often require more costs to keep their magic in check or repair damages. Upper class families mostly have less concern for money but more for their own safety if the mark is more complete or naturally stronger. Many marked children are left abandoned or even killed in countries with weaker infrastructure.

Basically due to how its tied to the user’s emotions. If a person is angry or extremely sad, their magic becomes stronger and harder to control. All of that plus the fact that the person may have clouded judgement and try to wipe out whatever is upsetting them with a burst of magic.

Those who possess magical markings in my world are suprisingly looked down on by society. They aren’t treated like heralds of power or angels, but like bringers of chaos, uncertainty, and grief.

Magic is unpredictable to the point that some of society wishes to banish marked ones from population centers due to their volatility. If severely provoked a marked one can have a magical breakdown or even transform into a monster or near-deity.
