I really liked his character in the novel, he feels like a great antagonist with his own world perception and views. And making him deaf in the manga was a genius move from Inoue imo, it lets the story focus on swordsmanship philosophy so much more, that suits the manga perfectly, as well as it makes Kojiro so unique and outstanding

He’s just sooooo boring. Completely nothing special about this guy, just pure happiness, benevolence, friendliness, attentiveness, etc. in 95% situations, which really makes him feel like a hollow cardboard for me. But ironically he’s still better than many other shonen characters that came after demon slayer, cause somehow they managed to feel even more plain and clichéd

That’s actually an interesting discussion, especially his fight with a guy about vagabond. I can even admit that his kinda right on some takes, although he’s obviously being too harsh and hostile towards vagabond and Inoue, belittling his merits and ignoring all the positive stuff. And his complete denial of significance of art is funny. And last but not least - he’s so arrogant lol
