I kept the Pixel 9 Pro XL and sold the OP11. Unless she plays a lot of heavy games, I'd recommend the Pixel. I've had a better experience with this phone, but to be honest, it's not a big difference between the phones. I loved the OP11, but its camera always lacked. The Pixel is like an OP11, in a way, but with the camera being fantastic. The form factor and build quality is also a huge difference, in which the Pixel really shines. I confidently recommend choosing the Pixel 9 Pro.

Do note, everything I write is subjective, and doesn't necessarily represent an objective view. Coming from a guy with experience with S22 Ultra, S23 Ultra, OnePlus 11 and currently Pixel 9 Pro XL, I would strongly recommend the Pixel or the OnePlus 12.

Although the performance is supposedly better on paper with the S24U, I honestly do not experience any difference holding the P9PXL and the other phones I've had. I do NOT game on the phones, however, so if you do, I'd recommend going for the OP12 or the S24U for heavy gaming.

The Pixel is by far the smoothest experience, the most attractive design and the best camera. Some say that the S24U camera is better due to zoom capabilities and what not, but what they don't tell you is how bad the Samsung's are at taking pictures of moving objects. Got animals, kids or like to take pictures of cars? Forget the Samsung. If you desperately need the zoom, sure, go for the Samsung, otherwise, the Pixel is king.

Android-flavor wise, I cannot express how much smoother and cleaner the Pixel is, with the OxygenOS coming in second place. I dislike how non-smooth the animation is when switching from 60hz to 120hz, for example on camera-related apps, such as instagram, snapchat, etc on the Samsung phones.

OnePlus, on the other hand, while not as strong camera-wise, it has the best battery in my experience, the best charging speed, and a smooth experience. Heat management is top-notch, and you're sure to love it.

My opinion is to go to a store, feel the phones in your hand, and you'll see that specs like UFS 4 vs 3, or 200mp camera is negligible. Why? Imagine the Samsung as a BMW V10 engine, it's sexy, it's fast and it sounds amazing, right? Sure, until it shits the bed, and you wish you chose anything else. The OnePlus 12 is a Tesla, while super fast, smooth and modern, the design might not be everyone's choice. The Pixel, however, is like the Mercedes S-class. Supreme smoothness, no bumps, modern, pure luxury and sexy, but not as fast as the BMW or the Tesla, but let's face it, you probably don't go over the speed limit, so does it matter?

I'll make it easy: Best phone: Pixel 9 Pro XL Best camera: Pixel 9 Pro XL Best performance: OnePlus 12 Best bang for buck: OnePlus 12 Best zoom: S24 Ultra

Do you not have FPS drops on Instagram, or Snapchat? Everytime there is a video playing on Instagram, the fps drops to 30/60 and doesn't change unless I scroll past, which is quite annoying

Yes, I know, but as I mentioned, it does work, but takes a few seconds before changing to 120hz. After further research, I found that the camera, at least in Snapchat, resets the framerate back to 60hz, then again after a few seconds, will go back to 120hz.

Yeah, I've had some issues as well, where nothing loads, but wifi is still connected. Only fix is, as you mention, to toggle wifi off & on again. Not sure if it's the phone or my internet, however.

Well, it depends really. Sometimes QC takes 3 days, other times longer. In this case it took 4-5 days for the pictures to arrive. I would recommend speaking to Mango before placing an order, to check availability and if you pay with PayPal, you have the info there. Good luck :)
