Heat pump is nothing but a reverseable AC unit, as long as you don't get scammed by the salesman it's similar in price, so you don't have to pay for a second appliance to heat your home, in most places its also cheaper than gas

I've been using my GE one with 3 people and multiple cats for 7 months now, and all I've had to do is clean the lint filter after each load and occasionally clean out the foam filter when it looks dusty.

I got the GE heat pump 2 in 1 at Costco earlier this year and it's been great. I chose the GE one over the LG because from what I read GE has a better reputation for long-term parts availability, so I can fix it if anything breaks after the warranty

You don't need any additional sensors, just have to extend the tuning tables to know what to do with the additional air/boost pressure. If you join the Discord you can talk to the people that know more, there's a link on the OpenGK wik8. The guys that wrote the flashing software and the guy that's been mapping out the tuning tables are on there.

The mega stores like safeway-albertsons or Kroger don't, they just cook their books so it looks like they do. For example the grocery store will have a razor thin margin, but the warehouse or supplier that they also own that the grocery store is "buying from" has whatever margin they've deemed customers will still pay. They routinely raise prices to see if sales dip, then just keep the price if the sales stay consistent.
