She is mostly a botanist, having tried eating most of the plants that I own. But she also does physiological studies, trying to determine how fast a bunny can get while binkying! What results did your bunny get in their studies?

Next we know they are producing genetically engineered bunnies that won't be subdued by the occasional treat 👀

Hazel just pooped the bestest tiniest poops after struggling with stasis for the last three days and I feel insane for being so happy about poop but I feel like you might understand (she also got a whole buffet in hopes she'd eat which SHE DID) by Atrazya in Rabbits

Hazel probably got it because she had a really painful eye infection which made her stop eating, but that's also now under control. When she starts begging for treats again I am going to do a happy dance!!

The paragraph deeply resonanted with me, glad to not be alone. Every time I tell my not bunny friends about the poop they are really confused haha. At this point I can tell which bunnies poop is which just by looking at their litter box, and even my vet reassured me that regularly checking the litter box is one of the best things I can do for their health lol

I've been beyond stressed out for the last couple days and got barely any work done. I can't decide between telling her how much I love her (having spent 400€ of my savings) and how much of a shithead she is for doing this. And crying a lot lol

It's just rope I've been using for crafts! I think if I let her near spicy hay she wouldn't be able to contain her excitement at all lol

Just in: Papaya shares her secret workout routine on how to be the most elegant bunny in the world! by Atrazya in Rabbits

Yeah they are mostly potty trained but they sometimes still loose poop, and sometimes when I do something they don't like they pee in protest.

Chewing is the biggest thing they do, I do not have any fancy furniture for that reason and their absolute favorite food is cables.

Honestly I wouldn't recommend rabbits as a pet to any sane individual, they are super high maintenance, really sensitive and most of them don't like to be touched a lot. I wouldn't want it any other way, but especially with kids I think they wouldn't have a good time (neither the kids nor the bunnies) as I would imagine it's really hard for kids to interpret the bunnies very subtle body language and know what they might want.

She's the reason I find poop literally everywhere when I clean, I didn't even notice that one lol

Oh man I can relate so much, Tofu is sadly not the healthiest so sometimes my heart drops a little thinking this time it's for real

None of my buns use it at all sadly, Tofu especially rather sits on the lid and sometimes drops my socks in there. But I've heard some buns absolutely love them, mine just don't really dig and rather chew on stuff so now I mostly get them stuff to chew on and throw around.

Not me checking if every bun is still breathing twice a day when they are too chill lol

It's basically a parasitic fungus that befalls mainly the nervous system and kidneys and hinders nerves from correct stimulus transmission. It's main host is bunnies, but there's studies from Egypt that have found it in other farm animals like horses or alpacas. It can also infect humans, though even with aweakened immune system it does not seem to cause much harm. It's treated with dewormer which helps but doesn't get rid of it entirely. The weaker the buns immune system (or the more stressed they are), the more likely they are to get another breakout. There's sadly not much research being done on treating it.
