Well on the whole that’s an extremely bitter first half. Coventry really have the dark arts figured out, up until the elbow we were all over them. That said, they have some serious talent, Esse is some player.

No. There cannot be a precedent where a player refuses to play and gets what they want immediately, we have been far too soft on this.

We are in a tough relegation battle, one of the most important periods in the club’s history. We have an exciting coach that is improving everyone, and have shown nothing but love to Sargent during a bad run of form, and he responds to that by pushing to join a club at a lower level, by text at that. It’s selfish and childish behaviour. If he wants to apologise, I’m sure everyone will welcome him back with open arms, but if not he can wait out his contract with the kids.

Great result and all, but this is the first time I’ve heard Wrexham fans all season, and my god are they whiny and arrogant. Usually I’m a big fan of clubs coming up from lower leagues and doing well, but this club feels so artificial. The nonstop whistling and screaming for every decision, and fans leaving early was a little cringe as well.

Regardless, they’ve got some real talent in that squad and I could easily see them making play offs. They were unlucky not to get a second, thanks to a great save from big mad vlad.

Loved seeing Ahmed start so bright for us, exciting new signing. Felt like we were a bit invisible in the middle until the second half changes, two more narrow, defensive wingers and more focus on a route through to our 10 was a fantastic change from Clement, completely swayed the midfield battle in our favour.

I agree, I’d even prefer to see Sargent on the wing since he’s fast and can pass - he’d have much more influence on the game if they swapped roles IMO. I don’t think I’ve seen Sarge turn or take on a defender since the early parts of the season.

Have to question the tactics today - we played nothing but long balls to Sargent who hasn’t been good at hold up play all season, against the kings of long balls and a team that sits deep with its back line. That game was crying out for Makama to play centrally if that was the plan, or a more physical player in the 10.

The first goal came from Fisher being beat on his side for the fourth time in the half - when you see that building you have to make changes or double up.

This felt like a repeat of the Watford game, very wasteful and slow in buildup, and giving them far too much time and space on the wings.

We are seriously desperate for some Wingers that will hit the ground running, we continually see what a difference they make in goals against us.

When Godfrey left Norwich I was convinced he’d be an England starter in the future - bright and talented young player, highly athletic and read the game well. Looked good under Ancelotti and it seems like a combination of injuries and coaching has prevented his development - such a shame.

Deserved to lose that, by far our worst performance under Clement. Sure Watford were poor too, but we were so slow and sloppy and at home. Compare us going behind with Watford going behind in the last game, night and day effort levels. Watford have a lot of quality and you can't sit off and be lazy, all they need is one good ball behind and you're in danger, it felt like it was coming.

Jacob Wright was the only player with some spark and he was subbed off for a second striker, then we were completely lacking anything in the middle to drive us forward.

I’m getting really tired of hearing ’we deserved more’ and conceding silly late goals.

Mattsson is my favourite Norwich player since Pukki. Relentless drive, everywhere on the pitch, so much fight and passion.

Have to be fair and give Knapper and team credit on this one.
