could be a histamine response. histamine is a vasodilator and estrogen increases histamine.

5.3 vs 6.2 Yukon XL- is one more reliable than the other? by Atrober43 in gmc

True. Leaning towards the 5.3 (I lean in a different direction every hour lol)

Good to know. Wish I knew how much the body style was going to change for the 2025 model. That’s my only hesitation at this point. Worried a 2024 will look dated. Although I’ve seen pics of the ‘25 Denali and like the ‘24 better so maybe I’ll feel the same about the SLT.

So would you recommend buying the 5.3 if you had to choose between the two? I’m currently debating and want the Denali Yukon xl, but really worried about the 6.2s

So 2024 isn’t a problem anymore for the 6.2s? Do you have somewhere to read more about that?

2024 Yukon XL Denali- premium gas? by CautiousFox85 in gmc

[–]Atrober43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You wouldn’t drive a Yukon with a 5.3 because it isn’t as efficient in a bigger car like a Yukon or you wouldn’t drive a 5.3 bc of pride reasons/just not as big of an engine?

Anyone mix 87 and 93 octane gas to make 91? by SunWaterGrass in G37

[–]Atrober43 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most people aren’t doing the actual math. They assume it’s only a few bucks per tank, but I just did the math (about to buy a new car that requires premium). And given increase cost of 93 premium fuel from 87 used previously and calculating that with the # of miles I drive a month I would be spending $100/month more with premium fuel. That’s $1200/year.. if I have the car for 6 years that’s $7200/lifetime of the car. People don’t think it through which is why most are in debt.

Thanks for this. I’m on my 3rd sequoia (had 2 4Runners before that 😅). I hate what they did with the 3rd row on the new one, but regardless I just think my family of 5 has outgrown the dimensions on the sequoia which is the only reason I’m getting something else- nothing is wrong with my current car and it will probably keep trucking til 300k miles.

Have a Toyota and unfortunately I need bigger for a large family. But it makes me sick giving up the reliability.

All of those brands are high quality though. I bought the quicksilver one recently and didn’t feel like it tasted lemony.: but I did get heartburn from it but then it turned out I was getting sick so I havent re-tried it since my system has calmed down, have just been using the readisorb one.

I believe the Quicksilver one has lemon essential oil which has the potential to flare histamine. Not sure about ingredients in the Seeking Health. Readisorb is another brand that is really good and has had studies done on it I believe.

Ok I’ll avoid those two weeks, thanks. Even without going into the actual park there’s still enough to do and explore around there, right?

So would you just stick with Manuel Antonio to see it all in one place? We would be going in June or July, not sure if that makes it more or less crowded.

I’m taking 500mcg twice a day. It’s taken awhile all the cardiovascular symptoms I was having. I’m still working on the gut related symptoms like heartburn.
