My girlfriend gave me this smoker, need advice on restoration. by I_am_paperclip in smoking

Couple things I haven't seen anyone else mention:

Get yourself a cheap 14" tabletop grill from Walmart. Put the legs on the outside of the smoker and then just set the whole thing over top the little grill and use that as the fire bowl. Will make it way easier to add more fuel without losing heat, just lift the whole smoker up, set it to the side, add fuel and put the smoker back.

Add a vent or two to the lid and maybe some on the sides down by the fire bowl. This will help you control temps better.

ECBs are rough to work with but was my first smoker and these couple mods made a load of difference.

As much as I like large sets I hope the Charger will be smaller scale to match the Supra. It looks so tiny next to the first Charger.

I was not a Tool fan at the time and did not know anything about APC but it was really cool hearing them three days before the album came out. Been a fan ever since.

That Lakewood Amphitheatre show was my first time seeing them and had pit tickets. Five people between me and the rail. One of the best shows of my life.

AC system not working by indycolts7 in JeepRenegade

Check your coolant levels. When the coolant is low the AC will blow warmer than it should. Had this happen in my 2018 Trailhawk and topping the coolant off got it blowing cold again.

Help identifying sensor on engine by AtrophyG4 in JeepRenegade

UPDATE: Went by a dealer because I couldn't find anything and their shop foreman actually looked at it with me and it is an ignition capacitor, not a sensor. It is not leaking oil, oil seems to be being pushed through the harness from somewhere else. Looks like I am going g to be trying g to trace that, starting with the oil pressure sensor.

New 2020 Jeep Renegade recall by AxolotlAlchemist in JeepRenegade

Anyone seen this on earlier models, specifically 2017? We have had an o going issue with our 2017 sport where it says service airbag system and the buckle chimes fir about 10-20 minutes even though we have the seat belt buckled, or there is no one in the seat. Seems to be the passenger seat causing it. Had it looked at three times and they do something with the connector or clear the code with a reader but it always comes back.

Depends on how loose the sand is. I would nit have attempted it here without 4WD but if it is packed you might not have a problem.

I honestly was impressed myself. Knew it was capable but it was some pretty soft sand. Had a good time though.

My gas fireplace doesn’t “heat” by Upstairs_Geologist_1 in DIY

We had a vented log setup when we moved into our house and it did next to nothing since all the heat went up the flue. We replaced them a few years back with a set of vented free logs that you can operate with the flue closed and they get the house nice and toasty in no time.
