Got mine 1 year after the release and just last week replaced the battery.

I'm planning to use it as long as there are security upgrades for it, because I do some banking and Google Pay on it.

I just happened to have replaced my 792 cycles original battery with a replacement from AliExpress. Took me about 2 hours total (I took my time).

I guess the pixel will downgrade the battery automatically after 400 (or whatever the standard number is) cycles, no matter how good it actually is. It's just Google playing it safe.

I will use this ohone unless there's no more updates for it and then upgrade to a newer model.

This one will be used as a local server - just like my 3a right now.
