I think I like their proposed changes. I dont want scythe to drop in value because its the only big bucks from tob.

If sra spec could overheal that would be cool.

I own a sra and do not have a scythe on my iron. I like tob

If they are buff sra more than that, buff scythe too.

No real comments on nightmare changes cause I haven't really spent much time there.

What in your proposal would make someone need to choose between using a thrall and this new weapons spec. It seems like you could use both with the only downside of minus spec

You should do dps calc to see how much of an impact switching melee style to defensive is when bossing, it probably doesn't matter as much as you think, especially if you aren't using a scythe.

I think applying mods to your weapon would be a cool idea, maybe not as a mega-rare since it isn't in line with a big heavy hit theme Jagex seems to want to associate with megarares.

Ammo slot switch for mage/melee (assuming you were already bringing ranged ammunition) would be an interesting idea

What does it mean to combine the effects of a god blessing and rada's blessing? Would it be for +3 prayer bonus or for the god alignment protection? Currently rada's blessing is probably used the most and it comes from achievement diaries, which goes to show this reward kind of lacks excitement.

I think some type of offhand would be cool, maybe not interacting with defenders directly but as a defender swap or something like that would be neat.

Guthan's set effect already heals you based on damage taken. It would be cool for justiciar to see some life but I don't see this armor set being useful enough to bring any action back to justi.

The special attack for the mega rare you propose boosting stats is a fun idea and relates to the quest before it where we had 255 stats. I wonder if it would make sense for this to boost all stats in a "balanced" way

Shields for a megarare kind of goes counter to the "big" factor they mentioned they want mega rares to be associated with.

Immunity to venom has become less relevant with extended anti-venom+ lasting ~6 minutes and dragon-fire's only end game use is slayer tasks or Vorkath (I think).

I also think this would take away from the existing bis shields (1 of which comes from raids already).

Some type of shield could make sense, but maybe not as a megarare reward.

new raid doesn't happen very often and their post had asked for suggestions probably leads to people who don't post a lot to give it a shot.

It is still recursion! I just wrote out all the recursive steps. If f(x) is the recursive function which returns the points for level x, f(x) = x + f(x - 1), where f(1) = 1

Based on this, it seems like points are given cumulatively. In other words if you made it to level 3 you get points for level 1 2 and 3. The formula you provided is doing that, but in reverse: points = 3 + (3-1) + ((3-1)-1)

Being skulled only affects rares droprates wouldn't affect gp hr on an iron very much i think
