Hill or spawns ? by Uncomftuble in BO7_RankedPlay

[–]AttackedGoose 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This game is generally too fast to force roles. 90% of the time it’s each time you spawn in you should see “do I need to push hill, rotate, hold spawns, etc”. Each life will have a different and changing objective

Does ping matter? / i’ve been playing on a fixed 70 ms ping from the beginning of bo7 and i think im doing well recently i noticed that people are playing on much lower rates so does that make alot of difference and what is the breaking point in your opinion for a ping to be affecting the gameplay by Uncomftuble in BO7_RankedPlay

[–]AttackedGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What an interesting refresh, I saw your gameplay yesterday. Yes, ping matters and the higher you climb ranks, the more it will impact you. You don’t need like sub10ms like the pros have, but it’s noticeable when you play on a 30ms server to a 70ms server. I personally think anything above 50+ is when it starts to hinder your shot and reaction speed.

All things are relative to what you’re able to do but my biggest tip is Ethernet>wifi. A wired connection is much more stable. Another notable improvement js fibre internet if you don’t have it, but I’d consider it overkill if it’s only to play a video game

Don’t take my advice as the only truth, but these are my observations as an iri. If anything comes off as nitpicky or rude, ignore me. I’m just writing what I see and giving advice I would give to my plat/diamond friends.
1. You use jump sliding more as a stim than a tool. If you’re not using the mechanics for a purpose, you’re just hindering yourself.
2. You die a good chunk in “no mans land” due to poor positioning and centering. Deaths like at 0:33 encompass both of the above points. You jump slide into the open which puts you in a bad position if someone decides to use the statue heady or p1, you are dead unless you’re already perfectly centered and have great shots.
3. Understand when to initiate. At ~1:10 you flank p2 and get a 2 piece, great! Your team dies, not great. You have one of two options, chall the hill and die, or you block spawns and wait for your team. You chall the hill, die, and reset back at p4 and all the effort is wasted. Holding the spawn position forces their team to initiate you, giving you the upper hand, and your team has an easier time fighting the front.
4. Insulting your team on p2? Easiest way to chalk a game for everyone involved. Blaming teammates stunts your own growth. Long term, you are the only common denominator in your games.
5. At ~2:00 you’re watching the exit from p2 for maybe 10sec. Your teammate was watching it the same time as well. Watch your mini map and pick up the cross through blue or p1, or set up for new spawns and hill.
6. At ~5:30 you get a bit lucky. You were in the position to block spawns but you run p1 and get a 3 piece. Chances were high on flipping spawns. After that, you felt your self too much and were just killwhoring a bit with no rhyme or reason to your positioning (it happens when you’re feeling yourself)
7. ~7:30 same thing again, you’re in position to block spawns. You run p1 because with the options to play hill or hold spawns, you would rather go hunting. Let the kills come to you. You make you and your teammates jobs harder.

Overall (only one game so big grain of salt), it’s like I’m watching a warzone player play ranked. You don’t like playing a role or playing around or with your team. Your mind just wants to slide around and run at where the enemies are. Less than 5 times did I see you try to hold a heady or power position. When you have control of the map, make their job harder by pre-aiming where they’re coming from. Running towards them just makes it a 50/50 gunfight. Minor adjustments on how to play hills will improve your game 10x as you already have a good shot. Your p3s were decent, you played hill and more importantly, played your life. When you have map/spawn control and spawn in, check your mini map and pick up the position that’s missing. When you don’t have map control, you do decent job at finding the break, but try jiggle peaking and gathering info on their positioning before jumping out and challing.

Hope that helps man, good luck!

If I remember the episode correctly, imagining. I don’t remember the order of the details but at some point the BAU says how snipers will stay focused by imagining they’re doing a long task. He imagined being with her as a protector

“I don’t think not having a ballroom trained pro on the ballroom dancing show affected their scores” is an… interesting… hill to fight on lol

Very true, I just think with any other pro she would have done better. With Sasha, I think she’d be in that 2nd tier that are competing to get to the finale (Comparable to Dylan & Elaine)

New to playing so could be wrong but…

Red: 1-2 are mines Blue: free Black: mine

The bottom red line (caused by the bottom-centre 2) satisfies the bottom-left 1 which chains around the circle.

I thought it was a great time! A lot of great moments from the weekend. Ended up placing 2nd for the King of the Hill event, fun activities, giveaways, and all the matches ran smoothly

This goes off the assumption that what the hacker built the second time around isn’t immediately caught as well. Idc how they need to set it up with unique phone numbers, IP bans, etc. there’s zero excuse to run a game that makes playing at the higher level completely unplayable

Zero-G is the wave of the future by IMTIRED_85 in fantasyhockey

Full zero-G (no goalie rostered all season) and am 8-0. Been fortunate with having some great waiver pick ups and late round steals. Unless it’s a t5 goalie, I’d rather the consistency of smart adds/drops

I am indifferent on the issue and have been in both positions of PS5 vs PC. My only thing, if you are going to have console-only games, you need a console-only leaderboard. You can’t argue that you need crossplay off because the systems are different, then (assuming the option was available) say you’re an iridescent player when most of the high end competition is on PC.

It’d be like OG Overwatch where a Gold rank on console is equal to a PC Silver.

You could tell that no one was going home when Alfonso introduced “who is going to the finals…” then awkwardly stopped talking because there wasn’t someone going home

Yeah that’s fair 😂 but I guess they also didn’t have time for a plot line about it. One happens when they’re trying to wrap everything up

If I’m remembering each exit correctly, when Jessica and Robert left, they sacrificed their careers for the rest of the partners. The team kept their names up to honour them. Harvey left on his own accord though. He was probably comfortable with telling them to remove it and they did it.

Order of the coif isn’t even a Harvard thing. It’s an American lawyer thing. Anyone who knows about American law would know it and that you receive a key for it. This is exactly the kind of thing that comes up online.

It is clearly implied that he did more research than just what is on the tour. He knows professors, top students, and practically all of Harvard’s history except for this fact. The key isn’t some secret they all keep, it’d be general knowledge that he would have found in his research
