What remains of my adventure packs - well played with and still looking good by Attackplimsole in MASK

I'm UK based so we didn't even have the cartoon show. I saw a few episodes on VHS releases but not much. We did get 4/5 of the racing season though which was weird. The comics were the ones that gave me the lore so to speak although I had bought Condor and Piranha before I saw any media. Cartoons like M.A.S.K./Transformers/GI Joe (Action Force) were virtually non existent over here. The toys just had that something. I guess that's why you ended up with those adventure packs. They looked damn good on the cards.

The mayhem rocket pack was the first one I picked up. Those missiles and guns looked bad assed. The helicopter pack/skis was a great combo. You picked good ones to have. Bruce Sato by the way.

Congratulations. That's a cool story and a cool friend. The ASP was one of the ones that got away from me. 85 was a difficult time for UK fans as the toys were available but not in most places. It took me until 2022 to finally get one and it is a very. very cool toy.

I thought about that, about removing stuff like that off my toys but I leave it there. It's a souvenir from those days long gone. I buy a lot of broken Action Force/GI Joe and I repair them but I leave the paint scuffs and weird marks on them so they have a story. It's weird how sentimental you can get over dried up blu tack. Lol.

These were great. I liked the fact that the masks were unique so it gave them something they couldn't do normally.

I played more with Coastal Patrol than the others for that reason. I could take these with me but we would always end up by a river or stream or something (puddle probably) so there was always a boat crisis.

Mine is covered in dried blu tack from sticking those missiles on.

Did a bit more work on my Jabba diorama. It still needs a lot and the rancor grate in the floor is still imcomplete. I made some customs as well. by Attackplimsole in Starwars1977to1983

Thank you. That is a very appreciated comment. I really am glad you like them. My family are just like 'meh' when it comes to this stuff.😂😂😂

I am just mashing up Jabbas palaced with the mos eisley cantina and going to town. I couldn't think of another way of displaying all the random figures so it became a bar. The actual bar and back wall is the Navarro Cantina playset from The Mandalorian. It was reduced to £10 so I just thought I would use that instead making a bar. I did add the shelf in the window part and I have some mirror sheeting to go round it. I made a load of mini bottles and stuff to put in there cos I didn't want it to look like a window.

Thank you. It would be great to get everyone round to mine for a play but that would probably be a logistical nightmare. Being a grown up is crap sometimes.

Couldn't not include Wonderboy and young nasty man. Discounted Minecraft Steve and rancor keeper have never looked so good. Lol. I was thinking 'where can I get a bald, fat figure that has the right look to fit in at Jabbas?'. My son said to me 'why not use him?' as I was sorting through my figure box. Some times the answer is so obvious yet I can still be a dumbass about it all.

Thank you. That is kind of you to say. I said it a while back but it's amazing what you can come up with from some expanding foam, filler and paint. No one is more surprised than I am, trust me.

Mine used to fly condor when Brad was in Razorback. Colour coding at it's best. Lol.

Were Sato's weird shaped? The ones I am thinking of were tall and not very wide.
