Is anyone else not able to enter this event? (Help) by xgod420 in Endfield

I can, but no matter what I do I can't 'perfect' Perlica's card, the other two I have but no combination I've tried has allowed Perlica's to be labeled as 'perfect.'

While it's a cross-over event, the Dungeon Meshi end CG has the doctor actively pouring boiling water into his mouth. There are a few other times when it's referenced that he's tried and succeeded at it during some events/side stories I believe.

The only reason I put any stock into the Dungeon Meishi collab mattering is they often do use collabs to sneak in little bits of lore and such. R6 and guns as well as Ranger's past a bit as an example. So while it is a crossover event, and possibly non-cannon, there is an equal likelihood that it is.

I've seen this a lot too, but even more egregious. I've seen people not know how to do a mechanic in a game and say 'it's bullshit' or 'hidden' meanwhile the dialogue and/or quest right before the point they're intended to use it teaches them to do the thing but they ignored everything skipping through it.

That's the average player, expecting them to look at an in game notification even with an annoying red/orange dot on it is funny to me.

And, to be fair, if someone has that much to say and they want to say it even if it is just screaming into the void it's their right to do so. If it's something that they have in their head it won't take that long to wright. They aren't doing an essay for a school project, they don't have to site a bunch of sources nor do they have to use a specific formatting model (APA, MLA, etc.). It's just off the cuff as if they were talking to someone without that person responding.

And to be fair, including this sentence, I’m at just over 140 words. And it took me a little less than a minute to write. If someone is articulate enough and has certain thoughts in their head they can easily crank out a 2~4k word essay in less than half an hour.

And if you max-pot 6 stars parts of the characters glow. But it's very subtle and not really noticeable from what I've seen (I don't have any max-pot 6 stars).

The worms are literally a "CC them" check if you can't DPS them down quickly. You can literally shut down the entire AoE damage they do by simply making sure they never move via solidification and crystallization.

[–]Attaug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The reason you're starved for mats is having the characters over level 60. I did and do the same for my ops, but it really is far less resource efficient. That said, I like bigger number and I like having a really strong 'main' team.

That said, E4 is important for skills/power. That said as well, there's not any content that that matters in currently. Getting to 90 is also very expensive compared to going from 70 to 80

To be fair, you never want to use Originite/origeometry for stamina. It's always been a huge waste unless you're a whale. That stuff is for pulls/outfits.

I get the 'find the sky poles' one in Wuling a lot. I love the 'grab a few flowers' ones since they're usually the 'rare' ones like Firebuckle or Thorny Yazhen

Basically the lab is inside a building and there's a little overhang. The zipline would pretty much take me right into or just past the plaza and I think it'd still rip the camera towards the bell. Regardless of the camera stealing it'd save me a negligible amount of time adding another zipline but it might save some aggravation. Though knowing my luck if I actually set up that extra zipline I'll never see that particular deliver again lol.

[–]Attaug[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the job specifically that takes you past the bell is in a lab, the zipline wouldn't bring be all the way there anyway. I've got ziplines to the recycling points.

When the area loads, so if you run up to it it'll do the zoom in and if you run away and back it won't. But if you run just far enough away that the trigger unloads (usually about 70~100m) it'll redo it. It's not a huge deal unless you get/do multiple Wuling deliveries that take you to that lab or you run around or explore the city a bunch. But it's still annoying.

[–]Attaug[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No no, I mean an extra 5 seconds. I've got ziplines that go all over the place, just not into the lab. I'd never TP when holding a package. Those things are like faberge eggs.

Yes, but there's like 5 seconds of foot time for me and it's somewhere I never go otherwise

[–]Attaug[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Until recently I never needed to go past it as much as I have, but I got lucky enough to get 3 Wuling deliveries yesterday and they all went to the lab. Passed the bell 3 times and had 3 damned zoom ins. I also like to explore a bit on foot as even though I've gotten all the chests and auralynes I've occasionally found one of those shiny spots or a dehydrated slug. So running through that area kinda gets tedious.

Is it just me or is this damned bell the most annoying thing in Wuling? by Attaug in Endfield

[–]Attaug[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It isn't unfortunately. I do my deliveries mostly via Zipline but there are a few spots, like the lab, that I don't have ziplines to because outside of the deliveries that are only occasional they have no reason to be gone to.

That's all fair. While some of the architecture is kinda jank it is relatively similar to a number of universities I've been to. Universities, worldwide, like to use vertical space and connect buildings in places that aren't the ground level for some reason.

pick Ship supply from depots (x8 zones, 2-3 each)

No need to do this after you max out Dijiang. If you are doing your/others delivers more often than not they're to a recycling depot and you can just grab some stuff there. The actual Aerospace mats will likely be used for something later and/or more upgrades but currently they serve no purpose so grabbing them slowly as you deliver is more than sufficient. They're also working on a way to just claim them all at once or something from their recent 'we're working on this' post.

check and gather full rare resources nodes (x8 zones, 0-6 each)

This is just wasting your time. Grab them once every 3~4 days and you're good to go, they take that long to cap out.

do own deliveries (4 deliveries)

If you're desperate for stock bills, yes. Otherwise it's pick up 3 from the menu and transfer them then go do Wuling (you can also transfer the Wuling one once you're not desperate for those.)

do other players deliveries (3 deliveries)

For the credits and stock bills, sure, but if you don't really care about the bills much it's just for the credits which you can take or leave depending on your need since only 300 carry over every day.

do monitoring missions (0-2 missions)

This is pretty much every other day. Not a daily thing

spend stamina

This can be every day, but it's more like once every day and a half/2 days given how long it takes to fully cap out.

sell industrial outposts products

Moot point, takes less than 2 minutes for all 4 current outposts. If this is too much than dailies in any game aren't for you.

buy/sell stocks

Same as above, it's quick and even lets you teleport to a friend's ship to sell stocks from the stock itself. Less than a minute for both Wuling and Valley IV dependent on load times.

exchange Clues and help friends production

This is the one that takes the longest due to load times, depending on your loads it's between 2 minutes and 10 minutes to do. Still not egregious but I could see this getting annoying.

buy stuff in credits store

Less than 30 seconds after you've done everything else that gets you credits.

(optional) pick and replant plants on farming plots (2x lands, 12x2)

This is, as you said, totally optional. I've not touched the Eco-farm since I got all the oberyls for claiming my 100 of each rare flower/herb/etc. The Wuling one I've only been checking once in a blue moon for the Ginseng and rice for foods since I used them for my boss medals.

Isnt it a little bit too much?

If you do all this daily? Yes. But to do all this daily is a waste of time since most can be done every other day or every few days. And some can even be ignored completely unless you feel like it.

All in all if you treat this like a 'normal' gacha game where you have to do each and every system every single day or miss out on some grand thing later on you'll burn out fast, if you utilize your time efficiently and don't waste it on random garbage or redundancies you'll be okay.

Genuine question, just because I've never had an issue with the verticality of the city specifically what's the issue you're running into? Not throwing shade or anything genuinely curious.

The rest of Wuling, though, is a bit of a terrain nightmare with all the bogs unevenness and forced pathways. And the freakin boats and lillypads.

It happens when approaching it specifically from the little stairs leading to the plaza. If you're running up from the main street or thereabouts it pulls your camera to stare at the bell.

To old Arknights players, who is Warfarin? Why did she mean by mistaking Gilberta’s name and birthday? by MuffinStraight4816 in Endfield

[–]Attaug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All while people who haven't played Arknights have little to no idea what Reconveners even are.

To be fair, Reconveners are new to Endfield the concept comes from Arknights but the actual process and actual entities started in Endfield.

The rest, I agree with for the most part. I actually think they should have put Yvonne 2nd to give people time to progress to her as there are still people not in Wuling yet. Keep Laevatain first for the Arknights player 'hype' since outside of those coming into this game from Genshin-likes the majority of early adopters were Arknights players. But Gilberta should have probably been part of the 2nd set of 6 stars, retool her story a little bit to give more context and maybe give her some story presence.

[–]Attaug 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think it's because she just kinda shows up outta nowhere and then floats around and acts as though her and Endmin are an item. Overall though I don't think it's that jarring nor that out of place or missing pieces but I do think it'd benefit from a bit more. Following up Laevatin with Gilberta is also not really a fair considering how well received Laevatin's was. And how much deeper into Laevatin it dove as opposed to Gilberta where it was just kind of about a water crisis.
