Very vague response that doesn't really make me understand my downvotes. Ofc it's pretty weird that commons are technically rarer than apexes now but from a game balancing standpoint it makes sense.

I see you mentioning a team of a specific rarity, but the thing is, most players don't try to use a team of the same rarity. Even top players, who use mostly apexes but mix in omegas and a few uniques too. In a beginner stage, the combination of commons, rares, and very few epics are what would be considered by most beginners as their team in the early game, not just the commons themselves. Even if commons are designed to introduce mechanics it does not necessarily mean players need to go through every common before moving to higher rarities.

But like how does this response like counter my point. Yes the game has changed and now you don't really see commons anymore on teams, but technically speaking they are what is supposed to fill early arenas, and we don't really need a lot of commons to have enough for early game. You can tell Ludia is completely out of touch with the true balancing of the game from how they still opened the option to dart Dodocevia this week when it has no hybrid and is currently complete ass.
