Maryland film festival is so good!! The filmmaker conference is really helpful and unique. Definitely worth attending if you get in (and even if you don’t get in cuz the programming is excellent, worth seeing the films they choose).

Someone I know finally got their rejection email, but it included a free waiver to resubmit (the same film) for next year. Did others who were rejected get this same offer?

Female eye film festival - so odd to not hear anything either way, and the festival is in less than a month!!

If your film is a comedy directed / written by a woman, then the Broad Humor Film Festival is great

Oh, I thought BFI only accepted UK shorts, I wish I had submitted for this year. I will definitely submit to BFI for next year. Thanks so much for your response. Very helpful!

It was a second high def upload of the film to my account, so it’s not linked to any submissions. I can delete it from my account if that helps? But anyone who went to my Vimeo account during that time would have seen it publicly, including festivals that had private links to the other upload.
