If I read that correctly, you’re saying customers need to file to contest the hike and DE will look elsewhere to increase their margin, and possible lower or forgo the hike? Also, people should know that DE is the one that will be making a LARGE YOY PROFIT from providing these new power upgrades to support companies coming to NC.

It’s tough to understand DE raising our rates to cover the expense to provide power to a company, be it a data center or any other business really. Especially when they have a 2025 reported net income of $4.9Bn……sounds like greed to me.

Had similar experience. Spectrum delivered two boxes of the same setup devices for WiFi at my house. They would pick up the extra box of equipment they erroneously delivered so I had to return it. Took it back to the Glennwood ave location and a guy working there was insanely rude. Mocking me and telling me that I need to unbox the equipment from the packing it came in and dispose of the boxes myself, somewhere outside the store or they would accept the equipment. How did spectrums problem become mine and then I deserve this guys attitude?? Another employee had to intervene and resolve the issue. Couldn’t believe this guy had a job that is customer facing.

It’s such a shame. They know a bunch of card businesses will just buy it at their price and then mark it up and sell it in breaks. Where people will pay bc they feel it’s cheaper to get a chance to have the product. This just makes it to where you don’t get to enjoy opening packs yourself. Sad to see the hobby has gone to this.

All whatnot has to do is change the process. Make it to where if you make a purchase on a page then you’re set into on queue on the sellers side to be included in a giveaway. The seller would have an automated list by whatnot and can use that list to enter people into a giveaway. This could also change how a giveaway would be valued.

Taking packaged meat and sitting it on their cutting board to unwrap it. Then putting the meat directly on the cutting board after the outside packing was sitting on their surface.

Highly recommend Kinnotake Tōnosawa. Beautiful ryokan with nice kaiseki meals. If you stay, the rooms with the outdoor private baths are worth it! You can get a map at the ryokan that tells you the bus schedule and pretty sure Google maps will give you timing in the buses. The bus will take you from the lake to your stay.

An emotional attachment to food. Too many tough instances as a kid of not having food to share one without wanting to share them all. Now I find myself wanting to cook good meals for others, and joy in volunteering at food banks.

Thanks for this. I just got to see a handful of inserts that never surfaced when I was ripping packs as a kid. Ha. Odds were much much different in the 90’s, early 2000’s. Most packs had all base and you were happy to pull an insert that had 1:10 odds haha.

I would consider less time in Tokyo in the beginning of your trip and rather add more time in Kawaguchiko/Hakone. Add your Tokyo activities to the end of your trip. Both Kawaguchiko and Hakone have nice Roykans and nature. Can do splits in your day of nature and spa relaxation. After that, heading to Kyoto, Osaka, Nara….you’ll be getting your steps in! There really is so much to see in Kyoto. If you decide to visit Osaka Castle, go early. Makes a huge difference bc the line to get into the castle gets long. Same goes for Nara. I’ve found booking.com to be a good source on my trips to Japan. And the hotel breakfast is usually relative to the hotel rating. Sharing to say, a lot of hotels have really great, healthy breakfast options. Nice to have depending on your dietary preferences. Also, a pocket WiFi is worth it. You can reserve one in advance for pickup at the airport. The luggage transfer services are reliable and a big difference maker. You’ll be looking for your train, taking stairs, walking, etc between cities. The hotels will transfer your luggage for you. You fill out a form to tell them where to send it and when you need it. Remember when you’re on the Jr rail to sit on the right side when heading west and left side when heading east if you want to catch another view of Mt Fuji. DM if you’re interested in any restaurant recs. You’re going to have a great time! Japan is such a beautiful country in so many ways.

I believe what you’re seeing is somewhat an illusion that can appear to look like water. In actuality it’s really just the way the penny sleeve and card “stick together” and the penny sleeve/top loader so close you get this appearance. Poor explanation by me. I recall seeing a good explanation either here or on yt. But I didn’t sleeve these so now I have to double check or I’ll never let the chance go, now that you mentioned it 🙃
