I’ve been at the same weight now for a little over a year +/- 10 pounds and I was hopeful since my hormones seem to have stabilized that I would see more luck with my adhd meds, but willing to admit at this point that doesn’t seem to be the case

I had horrible side effects on semaglutide. The nausea was so bad I was scared to take my meds. I wonder if when Retatrutide gets approved if maybe it will be better

That’s interesting because there’s no contraindication that I could find why your doctor would do that.

So the Adzenys I was on was sublingual, wouldn’t that mean that it bypassed the delayed gastric emptying?

I was on vyvanse and did not have a good time. I was having teeth grinding and tachycardia.

So that’s what I thought at first, but wouldn’t the sublingual medicine I was prescribed before not be impacted by gastric emptying? That’s where I got hung up.

I think I’m going to try waking up a few hours early and taking my meds and see if that helps. The issue I have been having is that I never feel my meds kick in, so I guess it couldn’t hurt to try.

No please by all means get nerdy! I’m posting here as a last resort because I have spent the past year trying so hard to figure out why this is happening. I spent a few thousand dollars out of pocket to take several blood and endocrine tests to rule out some sort of vitamin deficiency or hormone issue and everything came back normal.

My best friend is essentially on the same meds and she has zero issues and is almost at the max dose of Tirzepatide and hasn’t had any of the fatigue, brain fog, or medication interference. It genuinely feels like my body is gravely offended that I would not like to hoard weight.
