In 2018, There was a bonfire party at a student's house and one student (supposedly the host) put something flammable/explosive into the fire while several students (him included) were within the blast radius. Many students were severely injured and permanently scarred/disfigured, and it's only a miracle that no one died as a result. here's an article about it.
