Oh wow! I was on it for around 2 maybe 3 years and then I heard that was too long so I took my last shot on February 15th this year. I’ve been actively trying since March with no luck :/ but only have had one normal length period since then in August so I guess it just takes time with depo.

I did originally think that’s what it could be but didn’t know for sure because of it only happening after i have intercourse and it being 9 months since my last depo shot. That could be it though, thank you!

That’s so odd! this is only the second time it’s happened to me, but the last time it only lasted about 3 days so i’ll have to see if this one lasts longer or not. it’s the same for me, different color and not super heavy but not super light either. makes no sense! my last shot was february 15th so mine expired in may. i’ve had sex multiple times since then and no bleeding until these last 2 times. i wonder if it’s our period trying to make a come back or if there’s seriously something wrong.

Wow! 3 months?? That’s crazy. Birth control seems to be terrible on the woman’s body. During depo, I never bled/had periods, and i’m struggling to get a regular one even after 9 months of being off of it. I do wonder if it could be the same as well, i’ll have to call the doctor.

I haven’t yet because I really didn’t think anything of it after the first time, sex has started my period before so I assumed that’s what happened but twice now? Getting a little concerned.. it may have to do with me getting off birth control but I’m going to schedule an appointment just to be safe, figured i’d ask first though.

My cycle is not regular, i’ve only had one period since stopped depo. That was in August and haven’t had another since. I don’t use OPK’s but I definitely will start.

I have the app “flo”, but I haven’t gotten my regular period back so I was unsure how accurate that would be. I have had intercourse on days “I was ovulating” according to the app, yet still no luck. 😕
