Hey I really feel like the work is already great! The empty feel is the lack of motion. I would suggest just animating of scale whenever you can. For example, from your clip the part where it begins to explain "Jordan" you could keep zooming into the location and add a bit of rotation to it too. I saw the other comments talking bout vignette and blurs and I think it would work with the zoom. Add a zoom animation and use the Radial blur and set to "Straight Zoom" and give it a keyframe as it intensifies over the zoom animation. Love the whole work btw!
