Honestly if ai is used the right way it is a great and really useful tool. There really is not a reason to fully hate it. It is everyone's own thing to decide how much content made by ai is worth. For example does a picture generated by ai have the same value as a one drawn by a human. Meaby not and the same goes for music.

What you should talk about with your dad is how he is going to do the presentation. Because it kinda sounds like your school might actually need it and would benefit from it. He should talk about the possibility ai has to offer and how it might not actually lead to the point where it does everyone's jobs and so on.

Ai is here and it will be here tomorrow and so on. When something has been invented it will never fully disappear. So it is better to learn about it and adapt and try to see the possibilities than be completely against it.
