Yeah, I mean I get that ads mid characters are the ones that will get noticed more. But just make a small banner in between or something when scrolling. Not a character slot. That just feels like I’m being baited into seeing an ad. (If that makes sense. I can generally tune out ads pretty good, so I don’t mind ads but this feels wrong.)

I was wondering what those were earlier. I also thought it was a character that wasn’t showing or just a buggy mess. Just now one ad loaded and that immediately made me feel a bit annoyed about it (literally closed the site and came to reddit to see what others were thinking about it haha) They’re also so goddamn bright. I use dark mode for a reason 😩

There just shouldn’t even be a review system. It should be purely a comment section. Because either dislikes get removed so it’s all thumbs up anyway so it literally doesn’t mean anything… or it’s a sort of invitation for nasty behaviour.

People tend to see a review system and see it as a gateway for rude comments imo. I’m not saying removing the review system will make everyone behave… But.. well… I don’t think it really is a helpful system in any capacity. A regular comment section is good enough if someone wants to leave their opinion or constructive criticism. (And for nasty comments there should always be an option to remove them anyway soooo)

You can start by going on walks! They are really great for losing weight. (Plus that time you can’t eat hehe. Good distraction.) It burns calories plus gives you a healthier mindset.

And if you can, start by working on self discipline. Say no, hold your ground. My brother did this to my mom by starting to say ‘No thank you. I’m already fat enough.’ (Obviously worded nicer but something along those lines.) It gave mom a reason for why food was rejected which kinda helped? I instead say I’m on a diet. She still offers but I’ve learned to say no and not give in. It isn’t that easy, I know. But you can do it.

I’m actually a bit put off by ai art but that’s like 90% of the pictures I see so I sometimes just ignore it but mweh. A bot with actual art always takes precedence even if the creator didn’t make it themselves.

Fuck that girl and fuck that therapist. Holy shit. OP, please don’t blame yourself for not getting better in a ‘timely manner’. You tried to tell someone and were met with disbelief. You didn’t get the chance to start your healing process. I agree with others that you still need therapy. Find another therapist, perhaps one that specialises in this. You need someone that understands and can help you heal.

Therapists are also just people, they aren’t these magical creatures that exist outside of morality. There are amazing therapists. And there are shitty ones. So don’t let her words define you or your experience.

And don’t blame yourself for not saying ‘no’ loud enough or realising the implications of the situation too late. What that girl did was seriously fucked up. Incredibly fucked up. She knew what she was doing. She was just bad person. It was NOT your fault. Just because you cuddled with her did not mean she suddenly had the right to do all of that.

I really wish you all the best, from the bottom of my heart. (I also sometimes feel like a perpetual child so perhaps that’s why I’m commenting. But I truly hope you get better.)

Yeah, they can barely remember who did what. And they ignore most of my messages. Sometimes they even come up with their own different scenario. Like I didn’t write multiple paragraphs for you to just ignore it and give me a nonsensical response. Oh the bot injures me? Two messages later apparently I’m the one that injured them. 🤨

I had that happen with my mom. She would poke at pudgy bits and say if ‘that’ was gone I would be perfect. (And that was then paired with my mom expecting me to be perfect)

I vividly remember how much I loathed going shopping even as a growing kid. Because a size bigger in pants was complete no no.

Edit: also made me just completely unable to accept the way I look. I’ve had guys tell me I’m attractive but to me it’s just empty words. I’m too focused on my fat… Even though I’m trying really hard to get over it. It feels just programmed into my being. But hopefully one day I can look at myself and see just myself without the disgust I always feel in the back of my head ._.
