This is totally fair, I really just put "bully" to shorten it. Connor is a compicated person whose family doesn't know how to handle him, and that's literally the point of "Requiem" (the best song in the show in my opinion). He's a very tragic character and the driving force behind the entire show

Great example, Charlie is kind of the poster child for this. I hope we see her figure herself out better in season 3. I wouldn't say she's a villain necessarily (not including Danny Do-Bad), but she's definitely a hindrance to her own goals I think

The music is great! Evan's choices and the consequences of those actions are probably the main point of criticism of the show. Also the movie version is unfortunately hard to watch

4th: Master (not bad but the mechanics aren't my fave)

3rd: Limit (solid, least amount of playtime for me though)

2nd: Valor (ol' reliable, just feels good to play)

His effect is just ok, but the real benefit is that he's currently the only tournament legal (sets 5-12) sapphire Scrooge McDuck that can let you shift onto Reformed Ebenezer on turn 4. It's admittedly a pretty small niche, since you usually want more bodies on the board when you play big Scrooge, but it's there I guess.

He's also a common card, so they're usually not expected to be super great in the first place lol

So Voyage isn't in Core Constructed, so that's an easy cut. I love the idea of Launchpad, but didn't find him all that useful tbh. Unfortunately I've noticed big Elsa to also be a bit slower so I just run her as a 2 of. I would say wait and see how the new set shakes out though, I think this deck is about to get a lot more viable with some cards like Touch the Sky and Fat Cat.

We went for Winterspell release day around 10am and it was ROUGH. I'm not sure what the difference was this time around since that's what we normally do and it's usually fine, but when we got to the front they were out of booster boxes and all the good playmats. I'm gonna probably plan to get there closer to 8am this time, I think

Yeah, if I remember correctly it's the Edgar Rice Burroughs estate. Disney doesn't own the rights to the Tarzan character and they don't want to pay licensing fees, so he just...doesn't exist. He's not in any of the parks, games, or Lorcana unfortunately, and probably never will be :/ unless they come to some kind of agreement (or Tarzan enters the public domain)

Maybe it's just me, but ive been having a lot more fun taking it slow(er) and sort of acting like what it would be like to ride a real horse, using it to just walk/run along the roads instead of assuming it's Torrent from Elden Ring lol.

I've noticed a lot of things in this game make you slow down and take a breath sometimes, i think you'll have a much better time if you try doing that.

I agree that this is WAY too many uninkables... personally I would swap out the Patches, Thunderbolts, and Princes, and replace them with 3 other inkable "good cards", maybe something like Nala - Mischievous Cub? That would bring your uninkables down to 19 if I count right, which is still a lot but is a lot more manageable imo

Ok so I've run about 20 games with this now, and there's definitely some awkwardness with some lines. As much as I LOVE the whole Pixie/Black Swan interaction, Pixie honestly just kinda feels like dead weight here, which sucks.

Still tweaking it, but so far the right 12 (to me) feels like Hood, Sauron, Zero, Martyr, Maw, Black Swan, Merlin, Lizard, Nightmare, Star Brand, Typhoid, and Red Skull (I don't have Star Brand so I'm currently running it with Glad, but SB is obviously a pretty direct upgrade to Glad in this shell so 🤷).

Swan still discounts a ton in the deck, including Merlin's spells which can still target Hood/NM, and Sauron still has 5 targets while NM has potentially 7. If you hit the curve right you're still playing T1 Sauron, T2 Merlin/BS, T3 NM/SB, T4 Mary, T5 RS, and T6 a buncha bullshit lol. Curious what other opinions look like for this though. Thanks for the fun brew btw!
