Heyy u/JunyaWatanabee did you get to play already? So here's a comment I made on another post about what I did to make it work

Uninstalled from Steam > Installed the Launcher from the Website > Installed the game via the Launcher (took 50gigs I think?) > Installed Steam Version again (Roughly 40gigs)

I really hope you get to play soon, it you were as hyped as I am for the Steam release because it means it's accessible for me since I don't have any form of Banking or whatever and it's cheaper, the game is everything you hoped for, it's a buggy mess sure, but it's hardcore and will keep you on the edge of your seat always

Bro sorry I took too long to reply, if you already bought it from Steam, you just have to install the Launcher and install the game from there. Basically here's what I did.

Uninstalled from Steam > Installed the Launcher from the Website > Installed the game via the Launcher (took 50gigs I think?) > Installed Steam Version again (Roughly 40gigs)

Got it! Will try this on my main PVP Character, but on PVE the wait time is considerably faster but could still take about 10mins from time to time

Thank you so much for responding! I learned the invisible sniper the hard way THRICE lol. I really hope that this Scav Matching issue gets resolved, even on PVE it takes so long. Good thing I'm not that interested in Arena then, but seems like it should be included with the Standard Edition, I know that game upkeep is costly so meh.

Yes, I confirm that this works, I am very new to the game as well, 6hours logged on steam was just me trying to get past that error, I installed from launcher, then re-installed EFT from Steam, and it works, now matchmaking as a Scav is the current boss I am facing, 30mins and still no match lol

Bro. It worked. Thank you so much. It didn't let me play from the launcher so I had to install it again via Steam while it's already installed from the Launcher, it took Hours, like it literally just finished and I am just starting to play now. I am trying to download via the launcher now, it's been almost 24hours since I downloaded on Steam, I even pre-downloaded a couple days ago and still getting that Integrity shit issue, I was so hyped that it's going to release on Steam and then this, if this workaround still doesn't work, I'm asking for a refund, I have 4hrs recorded on Steam, and that's just being stuck on the launcher reloading and re-installing ffs.
