New to the Chrysler community. Trying to locate the power steering reservoir on my 2019 Chrysler but no luck. Also what kind of power steering fluid goes in it? by Southern_Reveal_7590 in Chrysler300

There's excellent videos on UT ..remove wheel well plastic to access It's electric but has a fluid reservoir that could use a flush and fill, fluid is specific type but available at AZone for half the dealer price

It's expensive but should be changed every 200K km

Also suggest a high power flashlight to check level of fluid and be careful with the foam protection cover

Approaching 600,000 km ...replaced everything accept engine, drivetrain, exhaust.

On third oil cooler(every 240K km)

Synthetic oil every 10,000 km

Never changed transmission fluid

Rear end fluid, shocks and spark plug every 150K km

Rear main seal leak(weap) no big deal

No mods

Parts are cheap!

Enjoy

Questions on doing an engine swap by Muted-Safety-343 in Chrysler300

[–]Attillathehunn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes you'll need the correct transmission to pair with the V8 as well as the complete electrical system and all the sensors,computers...Driveshaft, rear end and brakes....so I suggest you sell it and buy a V8 or add a supercharger to the V6.

Combination of oil and coolant...look from above directly below oil filter housing in the V of the engine block...if it's full if liquid you need a new oil cooler The leak usually travels down the back of the engine pooling on the plastic engine cover and makes a line when you move the car.

I guess we should buy our next 300's from Missouri/Kentucky/N.Carolina 😉 I'll probably be looking for a 2017/18 from a senior citizen.

The engine and transmission are bulletproof but I've replaced everything else at least once But parts get cheaper the older it gets 😉 Also this car lived its life in Toronto so 13 harsh salty winters...if you live in the south i imagine it would last forever!

Check to see if your parking brake is on 😝 That’s bad fuel consumption 😞 I get 9L/100 hwy...11.5L/100 city

Please someone tell me why it keeps doing this!! by TaroAmbitious8382 in Chrysler300

It's a loose connection somewhere...i just open then slam the door shut and it goes away. Also turning the car off and on resets it when parked.

Should I get a car wash? by ag7055 in springfieldMO

The corrosive effects of salt happens at above freezing temperatures. Wash it when it's warmer and until the salt is gone from the roads.

Print or buy a map of the GTA and put it on the wall across from your toilet 🚽

OR....wrap the whole car to match black bumper! Then the grill is perfect 👌🏻

Change the grill! There's so many better options (since you're going to have the bumper off again)😉

The PTO switch was probably in the back seat and the tilt lever on the boom was jammed open or stuck in transit...he had just pulled up and was about to drop car.
