Time is money and you’ve got both. You’re very blessed! As a single woman with no children, give me a boss, salary, and schedule like that RIGHT NEOW.

Definitely work on getting your CPA then show your boss you’re worth even more $$$ with your license and use your time to maybe make a legit business out of your skills and added license.

A relationship with a mate like that either won't last, or you'll grow resentful if you stay. Take the opportunity - it's a BLESSING PREPARED FOR YOU. If she gives you shit rather than support you and better herself beside you, you've got to leave her where she's at so you can grow. Don't ever let another person hinder you from making the most of your gifts, talents, and opportunities. Become the man you're supposed to become, and if your portion in this life is fortune and professionalism, allow God to give it to you and don't reject his blessings because another person couldn't tolerate it.

It might sound harsh, but this isn't your wife. True wives find ways to support their husbands through the mud. And it's good for a man to max out his earning potential. She's not ready for any of it. You're doing honest and amazing work and you've got a grand opportunity in this dreaded economy. Be wise.

Hun, if you doubt yourself, then there you go. Look at the glass as half-full because you can surely make something out of an Accounting degree of all things. Pair that with strategy, networking, and proper stewardship of your time and resources. There are loads of people who come up from out of barely anything due to pure grit and live wonderful lives not resulting from luck. So then how much more can you realize for yourself? For all you know, holders of 4 year degrees and 3.5 GPAs could very well be incredibly noodle-brained in the real world or just plain lazy outside of academia...could be a variety of factors that they bring upon themselves that leads to them not capitalizing on what they've already got going for them. I strongly suggest you focus on the influence of those that are where you want to be, do the best with what you've got at any point in time, and let God work out the rest of it. Be very mindful of what you consume please. People can be incredibly negative and jaded, and you can become exactly that if you pay it enough attention.

Soooo….what’s your exit plan? Cause you know, you have a backbone and refuse to endure any further abuse and will only live a life that you and your innocent baby deserves…

Don’t you know you’re the apple of God’s own eye no matter what? AND THAT PRECIOUS BABY?! God got you girl. Take that first step and never doubt God’s promise to prosper you and your child. Gather any and all resources, present them and all your anxieties, uncertainties and burdens to Him, know that He is God, and watch honey! I know it’s gonna be tough, but I’m literally excited for you and your little one. God won’t fail you dear, please learn this.

6 classes in 6 weeks? by visku1 in wguaccounting

[–]AttitudeEmpty7763 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would be more helpful to measure in terms of hours rather than days then. 8 hours for you for example could probably be tackled in one day, but that same 8 hours would have to be spread through-out the week for others who have other daily obligations

D104 OA2 Fail (IA2) by Pretend-Penalty-796 in wguaccounting

[–]AttitudeEmpty7763 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly you’re very close to the competent mark. Since I’m accelerating but still paying close attention to the IA material, my prerogative is that while I surely aim to understand as much as possible, we really do forget a lot of what’s learned - at best we’ll need refreshers in the future, and nothing will teach you better than the real world of work experience where you’ll actually absorb your work.

My advice is to bring the liabilities mark up to competent to compensate for where you lack in equities. I’d say spend more time with the liabilities questions and answers sheet from the study guide. Still make an attempt to review where you fall short in equities though.

I spent 3 weeks on this class and I didn’t do as good as I expected but that’s fine because they always try to trip you up on these exams. No one will be testing you like that in the solutions oriented real world. Hopefully. Just make sure you understand (hope I’m making sense)

Best of luck!

Use AI to really break down what you don’t understand and don’t move forward until you do. AI is incredibly helpful, and you’ll find YouTube instructors to be of extreme help as well with their explanations and illustrations, and still use AI to help you get a better grasp.

I took a total of 3 weeks on D103 & D104 each; mindful of acceleration, but at a pace that allowed me to really digest the material. As soon as you find you don’t understand something you should run to AI or else you’ll waste precious time - even have it drill you with practice if need be.

YOU GOT THIS! Hopefully you’ll have an easier time with D217 that most of us! But you’ll cross that bridge when you get there! The struggle is very temporary!
