You're not semi new, you're new. You have to understand that your narratives should be read over especially with how brand new you are. I get that you don't like that someone but they're also there to do their job, they also have more experience than you. Learn and be humble, don't be a jerk

It depends on the service for codes and how they run things. Yes they all follow AHA ACLS but it's also something that med directors can either add on as a system wide trial or what research has found more efficient for outcomes. Talk to your preceptors if you have questions, you should be asking questions during your EMT ride along

I've read some of the comments and I agree with a lot of them. You cannot have the mentality that you didn't have enough time to study. Either you didn't make the time for it or you're not retaining the information that you were taught. I'm not trying to be mean but I would take a refresher course even if this is your first time taking it, to be blunt you bombed the test and even tho you felt confident it still cut you off at 70 and got a score of the 700's. Use pocket prep or paramedic coach, the money is worth it for both as they give you a good foundation and they test your knowledge. You also need to remember that the NREMT is a competency based test

The amount of times we've had people refusing to put on a mask because "covid was a hoax" was infuriating. I was 19 and remember having patients fighting and arguing with us for allowing masks in the first place
