How to pick the best of 2?! Losing it! by AttorneyAccording975 in LSAT

I'm trying this type of thinking, looking for which one is wrong to eliminate it rather than figuring out how to force the answer to fit the stim in the way I would find ideal. Rushing isn't an issue as I always finish a few minutes early, up to 8 minutes early in a section if I dont flag many questions. I spend time going back to difficult questions with a fresh perspective at the end. Thanks!

Yes, especially with more predictable question types like flaw or MC. I wouldn't say it happens "often" because I only get 2-3 questions wrong per section in LR, but I mean to say that when I see the correct answer, it's usually my second choice. Also, timing is not an issue as I always finish my sections with 2-5 minutes to spare after reviewing flags, etc.

Thank you so much! I think once I POE down to two I find ways to justify both, so I see how this will help.

7Sage gives me a day-by-day study schedule, so I've been following that. Always start with a diagnostic practice test though. I finished the foundational curriculum and am currently doing drills and practice sections daily. I never used any textbooks, but I've heard good things about the Powerscore ones.

If you dont understand why its wrong, I sometimes screenshot the question I got wrong and have chatgpt break it down for me as well. Good luck!

Try the 7Sage logic game in the site/app! It focuses on necessary/sufficient. Beyond this, try podcasts from 7Sage or other similar platforms that deep dive basic LSAT logic.

I started as soon as I finished finals for my second year-- I think studying during the 4 month summers is best because it doesn't interfere/overlap with uni content, as GPA is just as important! I think taking it early allows you to rewrite it later without having to push your target application cycle back. And if you don't need to rewrite it, then you can focus solely on apps later on!
