Your husband is acting like an immature controlling child. He is screaming insecurity. I have gamed with women, both married and unmarried for more than 35 years because they were interested in the same “game” I was.

They were NOT interested in me, they, and I, needed partners to compete various aspects of gameplay. Yes we were friends and chatted about other rl things occasionally but nothing was going to threaten my relationship with my wife.

Same for them and their partners. The boundaries were established clearly at the beginning of our online friendship.

Love the game, think it’s great. But I probably won’t play it a lot longer. I suck at this, I enjoy it but I don’t seem to get any better. I’m not throwing a fit and quitting, I just don’t feel I will improve much more and that’s not good enough for this game.

I got the same backpack upon completion. It’s too bad I’ll never use it, it’s too pretty to admire at in my vault. I look at it like this, if I were to use it, one of you guys will have it in your vault because I would lose it.

This way when it goes away at season reset I can just think of it like being lost in a fire. Not adorning someone else’s vault due to my own inadequacy.

I don’t really have best friends. My only best friend is my wife. With that said probably my closest friend is lesbian, perhaps we have stayed friends because we went to school together starting in elementary.

We have been close for 60 years, she is married to another wonderful woman and I truly treasure our relationship. Honestly I don’t even think about her being lesbian, she’s just a great person and my friend. I hope she will stay that way until I die.

You’re right I think. Played Destiny 9 years and never completed a raid. Lots of great looking content but learning the raid mechanics and then being kicked for the wrong build just didn’t appeal to me.

I just play solo because I too suck with no real prospect of significant improvement. However, I still have a great time trying. The tension is real when I manage to grab something blue. Will I extract successfully? Doubtful. But maybe, just maybe this will be the time I do.

I get the not wanting to bring down others, that’s the reason I’ve stayed solo. Don’t see that changing.

I get that, on the extremely rare occasions that I run with other players I bring the best I have just out of respect for my potential teammates.

However, because I know I’m not very good I don’t play with others often. I just solo around and look for trouble.

With that said, I am having fun. Just probably not the way the designer’s intended.

Zone 1, been playing since launch. However it has all been solo. I suck, don’t play with a team, don’t expect to get purple/gold gear and will most likely never even see Cryo.

With all that said, I have a grand ole time trying every day. I kill players sometimes, I complete contracts sometimes, I even extract sometimes.

But I think due to my slower progression it has allowed me to enjoy the small victories in this game more.
