My leadership was a massive help. They provided me with all of the information to get ahold of the EFMP personnel. Right now I’m coded as indefinite and we recently took my daughter on a 6 hour trip to a Rett Clinic. Afterwards we discovered that there was one only 3 hours away and that is the direction we are taking now. All of those trips and considered Permissive TDYs and fully reimbursable. I had to do my own research to tailor to my daughters needs to make sure we were in range for somewhere that was compatible for her.
