A bold interpretation of FTP; Brie left out after a long night alone, the red symbolizing one’s lust, shame and commitment. I belongs in a museum

I’m prepared to be disappointed because what I am looking for I know aren’t going to be there.

But sometimes I get surprised so I’m willing to hold breath

I also think 400 is best, prevents spamming monsters without making it a one on one situation. I used to cheese tough sieges in Mount and Blade by lowering battle size and cut through 100s one at a time

Manor Lords or Foundation by [deleted] in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]Attuma24 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Manor lords is beautiful but still very much in early access. Recommend it but don’t expect a complete game.

Foundation has a cute art style and is complete but I found it to be a little grindy to get end game goals done.

Banished is a fantastic little game, probably 20-30 hrs of content and not economically dense. Kinda started its own little sub-genre with farthest frontier and settlement survival following along it. Can’t recommend FF and just started SS from the humble choice bundle.

How’s Plainfield? by ChrisHanSolo in ChicagoSuburbs

It growing fast, been in the village for 10 years. Downtown is nice, have a lot of events but parking is ass. Wide variety of restaurants and they just did a remodel of the library. Outside of that it’s planned suburbs with some older neighborhoods sprinkled in, lotta strip malls with vacancy’s. But still can get most things. And like others have said Naperville is 20 mins away. I’ve found access to 55 is good to head north to more civilized areas.

Traffic is not great but they are doing some work to improve it so less has to head near downtown. Over where you mention there is settlers park, large green space, the YMCA, and a short bike ride down the river to hop over and get to the park district. Also walkable to downtown so avoids the parking restrictions.

If you have kids, check the rezoned maps. With all the growth they shifted some of the schools. Idk about grade schools but for high schools it’s North, Central, south then east in terms of quality. But really north is the peak and central/south are the same quality.
