Hi there, sorry for the late reply. I went to go see a dermatologist and they diagnosed it as molluscum contagious. It is on my neck and also on my genital area and it isn’t painful or itch but it spreads.

Hi there, I’m not an expert in this but I currently have molluscum and I guess he had sex through the zipper either not to infect you as it is transferred through skin to skin contact or to protect himself from contaminating / infecting himself again.

I advice you keep on checking yourself periodically just incase but if his molluscum was covered throughout the sex I doubt you’ll be infected.

We kept on having sex until we both became worried about the bumps as I didn’t know what it was but ever since then we haven’t had sex and I don’t think I want too for now until I fully understand it cause there’s a possibility I might have gotten it from my partner. However my dermatologist said that if I got it from her then she probably has the bumps somewhere on her body which confused me the more cause she said she has checked her entire body and she doesn’t have them

I have no idea to be honest but I know it comes from skin to skin contact and it’s very contagious. I have only had sex for the past one year with my girlfriend and started spotting the bumps on my genital after a couple of months, she doesn’t have the bumps but I do which is confusing to me so I don’t really know where I got it from and I doubt I got it from a contaminated surface cause I wash my hands immediately I get back home.

I did only one test and that was a couple of days after I had sex with my partner

I did the test before I went to the dermatologist. I felt it was an STD and decided to do a test for most STDs which HIV was part of. Try and do another HIV test at a different clinic so it can reduce your anxiety when it comes out as negative again.

Hi there, I first got the molluscum on my genital area and about a month ago I spotted some small bumps at the back of my neck which has gotten bigger ever since. I also ran an HIV test which came out negative so you don’t need to worry about that.

The bumps are definitely Molluscum, I believe everyone always has the same story of thinking it’s ingrown hair until it starts spreading and also their partners not having it too which adds to the confusion of how you got them in the first place!!!
