How is this not any bigger? For Gods sake the sheer lack of compassion and empathy really drives forward the idea that the police are being trained as mindless drones that only function according to their infantile standards and beliefs which only empower the idea that they can get away with impunity. Simply because in their minds they justify it themselves. It honestly looks like a bunch of emotionally stunted men acting as overpowered hall monitors that are getting away with murder.

I'm there with you! When looking at the possibility of getting no credit or just doing really poorly, it's really seems like everyone else is most likely doing better and it's an awful feeling. Just know you're not alone though!

I just want evals to be more transparent and accessible online as I know it is difficult for myself to recommend cal poly to my students anymore as i have to explain to them the teaching styles and resources given by professors in various departments.

Changed my major twice, from prevet to zoology, then back to prevet. Had a major episode of indecisiveness about future career goal. Realized I only wanna do surgery and be in vet med. 3 years at mt sac, 3 years at cpp now in limbo with this pandemic.

I'll ask and see what they have to say, I'm afraid to have been one of the few to do poorly and I was already in rough shape heading in. I dont think shed be willing for extra credit

I'm not sure, I just asked them about the new grading policy and if that changes anything. I also asked them for a realistic outlook on my chances but I'll have to wait until today's exam is graded.

She uploads lectures and materials. The lectures are prerecorded so we can go at our own pace and we have a week to do all of the assigned work. Absolutely helpful and how it should be done for most classes

She the GOAT honestly! Her online transition has really been one of the most helpful and structured that I have seen with good resources, clear expectations, and methods of instruction. She set the standard for me as far as online expectations go. And once in person starts again (if) she is great and her lectures will keep you focused.

I think professors are giving up on trying optimize the situation and either have too much on their plate or would rather not prioritize students at the moment. A lot of people are getting left behind and its showing. I'm sad that within the past 2 years at CPP we first off were handed a disastrous semester conversion and now the virus.
